The IRS is not mailing checks to people who’s bank accounts have changed or closed. It is too close to tax season and they are making those people, myself included, claim their second stimulus on their taxes. I read articles on CNBC and Forbes stating this.

Yes. There are like 3 threads of people stating that they were under a 60 day review and then they updated today on their transcript to a code 846 which is a DDD. Majority of the people under review that filed in Jan first week of February got a DDD. WMR will be updating overnight tonight. I hope and pray we’re in that group. 😉

Have you checked your transcripts. There was a big update today with DDD for next week. If you don’t have access to them, WMR will update overnight tonight. So we’ll see 😉

My daughter just showed me that thousands of people posted a transcript update with a DDD. Please lord let me be in this group…

Told I have a 60 day review.Transcripts update the day before WMR. And for those of us under review, we may update tomorrow, or next week or next month, but people are showing DDD on their transcripts so there is hope we will get our money soon.
For those of us that can’t check transcripts, WMR should update tonight, overnight. Let’s all be patient. We see that the 60 day madness was hardly 60 days at all so there is hope. And if I do have to wait 60 days. I am happy for the ones that got theirs because I know how it feels when you need your money.

Stuck on processing for weeks. 60 day review. Question… is everyone that’s under review use TT this year? Just wondering.So I checked last years forum and saw that most people that were under review, saw a DDD of 3/27. It maybe a day or two off this year, but the end of March basically. Sadly there were still some who were still waiting for refunds into the late months of the year, stating that after the first 60 days the IRS requested an additional 60 days and so on.. 😬

Whoever just said stop calling the IRS so they can finish our returns… man I’m so sick of people defending the IRS. Obviously the customer service reps do not also do our returns. They don’t work on our returns between calls. Lol. The CSR’s only answer the phones, you wanna know how I know… my mom works for the IRS over 15 years. Lol!!! Wow
That’s awesome!! This tax year has been wildly inefficient and uninformative. Unacceptable. The IRS and Santa Barbara bank could start by being more transparent. Let us know that you were just flooded and understaffed and you needed more time. Not that we did something wrong on our taxes and now we have to sit and wait for however long with no specific reason or any further information.

LMAO!!! Get em’ y’all. I’m so tired of these people defending everything and everyone but us taxpayers and our rights there of. We have been lied to, plain and simple! We were told 21 days from the day we filed. Really!!! I’ve been stuck on processing this whole month and now 60 day review. Give me a break. Some guy said the IRS is doing the best they can. Hahaha!!! Who do you work for!! We still don’t have our money and they don’t have to tell us why..?? I don’t think so!!

Thanks so much for the info!! I’m glad it’s finally getting out there how we’re being treated every tax year. And btw I filed 1/27 and have been stuck on processing with no bars ever since, to those of who keep preaching patience. They shouldn’t tell people that they will receive their taxes within 21 days of filing, and then make up some bogus 60 day review to give themselves more time. What about our rights? Do we just smile and take it? No!
