GM… Today is SUPPOSEDLY the day… Did anyone wake up to a deposit with or without a trace number? CK, Chime, Cash App, Traditional bank ANYONE?? I damn sure didn’t smh. This has got to be the most screwed tax season yet.

Disappointing Tax season. I’ve never had a DDD and not received the money on that day.

I didn’t even ask for the 5 days early and some how it was on there. 5 days early was denied and said I would get it the day of my DDD. No record from SBTG because of the 5 day non sense. We shall see what happens through the week.
Irs does say that if you don’t see it by March 3 to contact them

TT with fees taken out, accepted 01/27/25, PATHer.

Waiting on DD to CK and so far absolutely nothing. No update on WMR (I have seen 846 since Friday on my transcript). No trace on SBTPG. No deposit.

This tax year has me a nervous wreck.

@Mj Still within the 21-day timeframe, but last year I got my refund 8 days after filing, so that spoiled me. I just never saw the non-filing letter before – it’s freaking me out a little.

I’m in the same boat. Filed 2/01, transcripts have been and still blank. As of date only changed once over 2 weeks ago from 2/24 to 3/03. Called iRS today and was told a notice to verify will be sent in the mail around the week of 3/11. WMR says “still being processed”. Will update as soon as I know anything

In my experience, the non filer letter will be present until the 846 code is given (in other words, fully processed). I’m not positive if that’s how it goes for everyone, just what I noticed on my account over the years.

Anyone else having issues with their CK card? Can’t purchase anything its like it’s frozen I have available funds but this damn card. As soon as I can move funds best believe Iam. Although I believe they would love for everyone to transfer funds that way they can make a killing off everyone

If it helps I had that message for 2024 before I even filed because I always log into my account before I file to just check last year’s return and that message was there so I think it is something IRS has up there until you are processed now everyone situation is not the same so don’t hold me to this just thinking out loud

Transcript still blank called IRS they said I have to verify but I no notification or letter in mail. They said my letter should be here 03/11.
That’s a couple of weeks away but my taxes haven’t been processed!

I’ve had my same bank Acct for 20+ years and I’ve been in this same house almost 7 years?
I did speak with IRS rep earlier and she looked into it and said she can’t see ANY reason why my check is being mailed instead of DD. She even looked over my whole return and can see where I requested DD and verified the R/A #. There are no notes or anything to show who made the decision or why it was switched. Just shows that my check should be mailed by Friday.

I went back and looked at my chime deposit from last year and I received it on a Thursday, I always get my deposit the same day of 846 ( but seems this yr it’s not like that with deposits 🥺) so that means I updated Wednesday going into Thursday last year cycle code was 0904 ( being the 1st yr I was ever a daily bc any other year I’ve always been weekly 05)

They don’t just mail your refund because of a change ..I’d call and ask …I’ve had lots of changing the last 3 years and not once got a check mailed ..even changed dependents twice in 3 years .

Filed and accepted 2/7 blank transcripts as of date changed from 03-10 to 03/16 and path act still shows on wmr tool but now says it’s delayed no notices or actions I keep seeing everyone who filed 2/7 saying no updates either. Oh I’m a weekly

A lot of people aren’t even getting trace numbers, their deposits are just showing up before 2pm EST and then the trace number gets added.

I got mine $$ around 10:30am before trace# even showed . I did have to wait till my actual DDD which was 2/25 but it was thru TT. And deposit was on CK Money Card

I have had this experience twice. Once was that my address had changed, and another year I switched banks for DD. They don’t like change, and a tax advocate told me any “change” to your details they will flag. That was my experience, not sure if that’s the case for you. Good luck.

Same. I’ve used Chime and TT for the past 4 years and always received mine the day before my DDD. I checked SBTG and my fees have already been paid and it shows “Refund sent” to my bank, but with a post date of 2/26. SBTG has a pop up note now saying if your status shows “Refund Sent”, check that “Post date”, as that’s the date the IRS has set to release the funds.

I have chime and every year I always got it early or even before my wmr changed but this year I had my fees taken out out of my refund and it came on the exact ddd :/
