I filed on 1/31 with IS form and was accepted the same day. The transcript has a 570 with date 02/24/2014. I called IRS this morning and gentleman says I have to wait 11 weeks from 3/20. That just does not sound right to me. I though IS was 8 to 11wks from acceptance date if electronically filed and about 14 if mailed. Any thoughts while I wait on hold to speak to IS department (in hopes that I get someone who can enlighten me)?
@TreeStone I will keep you both up to date even if i get it i will post on here so you know its only 813 am here and my mail doesnt run till 430 here lol i have also been stocking the mail man my husband was walking back from the mail box on Saturday and said he wont be checking the mail anymore because he was so disappointed well now he knows how i feel haha
@hatewaiting… I haven’t been able to get mine for weeks… but the WMR changing the same day as cbp27 i suspect my transcript looks like hers… all 3 of us with the same dates… her transcripts updated last Thurs. if Im not mistaken… i have high hopes for this week…. fingers crossed!! Not one of us on the WMR have a DD date… i think the update was for a paper check… but that’s my opinion…
@TreeStone ya the three of us have the same stuff going on even our dates lol and i have tried a million times to get my trans. and i have only been successful one time stupid thing drives me crazy lets hope we see it in the mail today or tomorrow. From my understanding from past post they only send out checks on Fridays.
@hatewaiting… I was talking about the transcripts… duh… I am so worried and waiting… but they are doing something that’s for sure!
@hatewaiting my WMR changed to the same message Saturday as well as cbp27… i still cant get into mine… scroll down and see what hers was… if yours isn’t working… i suspect a check in the mail soon… cross your fingers
Hey everyone so I got up and check my WMR which i havent been doing because i went in the IS form after they had already taken my refund and the WMR said that it was taken for a past dept and now today it says its being processed and it is the original amount that I was told I would be getting back. By chance would I get it all back even though I live in a community state?
Ok, efiled and accepted 2/6. 570 code 3/3 as of date 3/31….
So I decide to call this morning. Wait time between 15 and 30 minutes, YAY, must be my lucky day…
Was on hold closer to 45 minutes, my hand actually fell asleep…
Then the awaited for click, a recorded voice said “Please hold”, the music intensified like a Broadway show was about to start. This is it, they are about to answer!!….
And then “we’re sorry, your call can not be completed at this time, please try again later” CLICK….
The cats ran due to the string of expletives I was shouting out, I’m amazed my phone withstood the throw across the room…FML

I’m happy people are getting their refunds, just very disappointed every time I read that someone who filed after we did, received their refund before us. I guess my IS processor either contracted malaria or went on vacation.Anyone out there this year who efiled both with TurboTax and asked for DD get an email saying they saying they should be getting a deposit soon? I had that happen last year and it was deposited that morning. So I keep checking my email too. My morning goes: check email-nothing, check transcripts-nothing, check WMR-nothing. :-)
ughhhhh. Really guess what nothing has changed I know everyone is shocked by this. I just want some kind of update hopefully soon. 570 and 150 codes still say as of 2/24. Please let this money come thru soon my form was completed last tuesday. Here is hoping for an update to WMR or transcript sometime this week.
Well 40 minutes on the phone just to hear the 11 week speech again. I never mention the is form but never get anything other than blah blah 11 weeks blah blah. I guess I’m going to stop stalking this week. I’m at week 10 filing, 9 after received so I really hope it’s coming to an end soon.

570 as of 2/24.. ArggMy experience with state return was when I got the letter telling me that it was kept there was a part to fill out that is for the injured spouse to fill out and send it.
Our State of MD refund was intercepted for debts that I owed from a period before we were married. Can my wife now file the state of MD. Injured spouse form . To get her portion of the refund returned to her. Also would she file that State of Md injured spouse form by itself or with a copy of the MD state return that was already filed.

Thanks everyoneI did my taxes on March 22nd they were approved March 24th then nothing then and about 12:30 in morning today I checked wmr it said refund sent. I was excited until I woke up at bout 8am and the status bar was back doan to refund approved??? makes no sense to me.,my dd supposed to be April 2nd but I won’t hold my breathe after reading all this lol. has anyone else had there status bar change like that
FINALLY!!!!!!! After waiting 6 weeks they have received my return and are processing it. The total looks less than what they said it would be but I’m going to wait until they are done processing it. At least we are getting something back! Won’t have the money until after vacation sadly, Oh well. Whew!
Finally able to access my transcripts…. always said my info didn’t match. I added the middle initial with no space and it worked!! No help though. 570 with a 3/17 date..still waiting.

First time on here, first time with any of this. I’ve read the threads and got my transcript yesterday. I am really confused about why I show two 898 codes dated 2-24-14. I have the 846 dated 2-24-14 also. Worried that it shows those 898 twice, like they approved our refund and then sent it back. Any help or encouragement would be awesome.

@Chaddox I tried to look at mine this morning and can’t access them , this the first time this has happened , i get an error (122) what ever that means. I just hope they are updating them. If anyone knows something about not being able to see transcripts please comment thanks.

Our account FINALLY updated on Friday. We have codes 290 (Additional tax assessed), 971 (Notice issued), and 846 (Refund issued) dates of 4/14/2014. Does that mean we’ll have it by the 14th or that it won’t be mailed out until the 14th? Considering the process of IS was started basically 3/10, it’s moved pretty quick.

Filed 1/28 accepted same day, but trans says processed 2/24. Self employed so sched C and IS form. Trans has as of date 3/31 , with 570 code 2/24. Not sure if my as of date ever changed cause just took first look at trans the other day. Last year it was May before I got check, but hoping this year will be quicker. I remember whatthebleep from last year , and I see he has progress so heres hoping for all the rest of us. I will never file early again, that seems to have slowed things down too. Its great to have this sight to help keep sanity!!!!!!
Hey @Niknak very cool of you stop in with your news thanks so much for sharing :-) it’s awesome how most IS refunds seem to be going pretty fast, but really sucks that it isn’t all of them :-( high hopes that everyone hears some good news soon
@dlw77 did you check WMR? If your transcripts updated then your WMR should be updated by now…if it’s not I would go over to the home page and ask one of the mods if they can offer some advice -good luck
Hey y’all, I follow but never post but thought I should share some hope. I e-filed everything turbo tax 2/8, accepted same day. This past Thursday our transcript updated with the 846, 4-14. This morning WMR updated for the first time ever to 2 bars with a DD of April 2. It had the same processing message since the first time I checked it in Feb. I’ll update when I actually see the money. Good luck all!
I checked our transcript and it has a refund date of 4-14-14….will that be the date I should be expecting the refund or will it come sooner since they ave already processed the injured spouse form? Not sure if the 4-14 date is just a generalized date or an accurate one…
Hello all new here but have been following this thread for a while.
My wmr status went from the generic message of your refund is processing a date will be provided, to its being processed..says nothing about a date will be provided..Does this mean anything?First time filing is claim.

No check in the mail today @TreeStone I’ve been stalking our mailbox all day waiting for the postman to arrive, and alas, no money. So, here’s to hoping I see something next week before we go out of state for 2 weeks next Saturday :/
Just curious if those whose transcripts have updated to show the refund if at the top of the page where the Balance amount is -$(refund amount) above the “as of date” now have $0.00?

and @cpb27 over on the other forum… wanna wait with me… a girl had our same circumstances last week… they received her IS 2/13…. her transcript updated friday… her check was in the mail saturday… that’s how i think ours will work…. if it was going to be DD our WMR would have shown a date… :)
@cpb27 i bet we need to be watching the mail really close… i still can’t get into my transcripts… for some reason the only day i seem to have any luck is on Sunday… but with the WMR change i bet mine looks like yours…. fingers crossed this may be over soon!!! :)

O.k this is B.S me and my wife filed on 2/4/14 and where excepted on 2/6/14 had one bar until 2/24/14 then the bars went away and there has been no change since on WMR. I talked to the irs a couple of times and all I got was the 11 week story even when I didn’t tell them we filed injured spouse. Our transcripts still reading the same thing.

Well my WMR updated to we have received your return and it is processing… shows my full refund amount again… i was locked out of my transcripts yesterday until mid morning today… pretty certain I will see a change…. starting to feel hopeful at this point!!

Still no change, been stuck here going on 9 weeks. 570 code with date 2/24, as of date is 3/31, 605 cycle. last year received check on June 6th. starting to look that way again. efiled both forms with turbo tax.
Hey everyone I just woke up from a terrible nightmare, and decided to check WMR and bam! I have a Ddd of 4/2!!!! So exciting!!!
My transcripts have changed. I now have the two 846 codes dated 4/14/2014. I looked at last year’s transcript and the 846 and 898 codes were dated 4/15/2013 but we got our DD on 4/3/2013 so I have my fingers crossed for more good news this weekend.
Can someone help me figure out what cycle 20141005 is?

Filed on 2/10, accepted same day. First year filing injured spouse. 570 code was issued right away and processing date of 3/10. As of date 3/31. Called yesterday and the agent told me it appears to be completed. No updates on wmr or transcripts this morning so I called back and the lady told me she wasn’t sure where the other agent retrieved that info but it was still in processing and the 11 week marker would be the first week of May. Also said it was accepted on 2/14 not 2/10. Why such different answers? My as of date hasn’t changed. Confused!
@cmbreede Thank you Thank you Thankyou!!! I did exactly like you said and never mentioned injured spouse until I was already speaking with an accounts person. I was given the great news that my return has been completed just today and I should be updated on when my refund is released in no more than a week! I filed Febuary 8th. They received my IS form the 13th. I have had no luck since then getting any answers!! You have made my day! I suggest more people try it your way!
I filed my taxes on 3-8-14, it’s 3-28-14,the IRS accepted my taxes the same day. I went to where is MT refund it keeps telling me I will receive them in 21 days. It’s been over that period still nothing. How much longer do i have to wait
No luck with that number :-(

Hey @TreeStone my WMR never updated during this entire process. I checked it entering the refund amount we were originally expecting pre-offset because I didn’t file the IS form with my return, I mailed it in a week after and I didn’t know how much I was getting until yesterday. When I would check it the status would just show that it was offset. My IS refund isn’t a whole amount, it has some cents tied onto it so I tried to use that amount last night without the change and WMR wasn’t having it. So this entire time my transcripts have been the only source of info for me. Like I said, I have no idea when I’m getting it or what form it’s coming in but it happened really fast…like in the course of the day yesterday. Hopefully yours updated too!!
@chaddox I am so sorry for you. Maybe you will get good news the beginning of next week the hardest thing is the unknown I know. Just hang in there you will here something. @hatewaiting you are probably correct that they will take half that is so sad for you. It is hard to be a single income family and lose that much of a refund due to something you had nothing to do with. I was devastated last year when our refund was yanked away. I had no clue he even had the debt. But we were able to get our money back in about 8 weeks. And this year it is taking just as long.
I’ve been lurking here for a few weeks now, trying to see how quickly everyone else got their return with the IS form (this is my second year filing, I mailed it last year and it took almost 4 months) and just wanted to give some hope, I’m on week 9, I filed and was accepted 1/30, and my transcripts FINALLY updated today with my code 846 issued on 4/14. I thought it was never going to change!!!
I e-filed IS tax return through TaxAct, and was accepted 2/5. I just went on to get my transcript, and there is no record that I filed a 2013 tax return. I am assuming that means it hasn’t been processed yet. My husband is self-employed, and receives a 1099. I wonder if that is why it’s taking longer.
I’m a little late to the party this year but we are back again! Filed 2/4, accepted 2/6, stuck at 570. Today is day 50, week 7. Last year was week 13, day 2, day 13 of referral (April 27th). I’ve heard many people say this year is going faster, but only 4 weeks away from week 11, it sure doesn’t seem to be. Lets hope it is.
@cmbreede i too am the only one working and also have 2 kids one of witch is not my husbands we were only married 5 months out of last year but i live in a common state :( so i think they will take at least half of my refund to me that isnt fair considering my son isnt even his so that child tax CR shouldnt go to his debt but we know how that goes and the fact that we werent even married the whole year:( i dont know this whole thing stressed me out from the start.

I just called the 18008291040 pressed 1 then 2 and then 00. When someone answered I said it had been 8 weeks since I filed and wanted to speak to someone. they transfered me to accounts and I was on hold for about 45 mins. The when the lady answered I didn’t mention the injured spouse just told her it had been 8 weeks since I filed. I answered all her questions and she pulled up my account. And said did you file an injured spouse and I said yes mam. She said it closed on the 25 and we were getting the full amount back I was excited. I do not live in a common property state. And I am the only income with 2 childern it is his debt so they gave it all back last year and looks like we will get it all back this year. I hope to get the money next week but it may be the week after so just keep checking and if you call don’t mention the injured spouse cause they won’t even look at your account if you do, all you will get is the 11 week speech.
@cbp27 has your WMR changed? i think yours and mine said the same thing… i was locked out of my transcripts again so now i have no idea if mine have been released or not…they received my form 2/18…. oh man am i worried….
@cmbreede do you live in a community state? it really is driving me bonkers not knowing if i am getting all my refund half my refund or what i think i could plan better if i just knew what i was getting and at least an idea :( so stressful

Absolutely no change here. I filed jan 28th with IS electronically. Feb 6Th is was sent to IS dept.
I still have the 570- 2/24 and my as of date is 3/31, 0605 cycle. This is the last time I file early again. When I called earlier this week, my IS was still open and had been open.@chattycathy did you have a power of attorney?

Well after an hour on hold I finally got some answers. Form closed on 3-25 and we are geting the full refund back. So the very nice lady said I should expect my refund in about 2 weeks. thank goodness maybe now I can stop stressing so much. The lady I spoke with today was very helpful but told me what I needed to know. She said she wished she could give me a deposit date but she didn’t have access. I simply told her she was way more help than anyone else I spoken to. So maybe slowly but surely everyone start hearing something.
@whatthebleep CONGRATS!!! I am so happy for you and the other ppl who had updates! I checked mine this morning, no uodates :( for us that are still stuck here hopefully it wont be much longer! I have a question though, on my return there is a third party designee, I dont recognise the name listed, does anyone know what this is?
