Lmao @ like normal people. I usually do sleep at night but sometimes I don’t need to get up very early so I hang out. In other news I just got my refund deposit a few minutes ago, so the 3/9 was not accurate for me at all. Good luck!!

Did you also call and verify over the phone? A lot of people (including me) found the verification online incomplete when we called even though online said “verification complete”.

Yeah I seem to be a weekly each year also. To my understanding, once you become a weekly it pretty much stays like that unless something changes like much higher income or filling a different type of return or claiming new credits maybe. Also, we prob wouldn’t see any changes til Thursday or Friday even though we already verified. Mine is usually accurate with the date but I’m hoping my new bank this year is processing fast.

I verified otp this morning too. The rep had a lot more questions for me than the online verification. I assume the online part never actually took because I feel like she would have said it was already done. This has been so crazy. Fingers crossed.

Some are saying the online verification didn’t go through even though it said it did. So maybe give them a call as well. I have the verification nonsense as well but haven’t gotten my letter. Filed 01/26, accepted same day. Sigh.

I have this message in my IRS account but not on the Where’s My Refund page where it just says accepted but not processed. Never had this message before. I did use a different tax prep program this year but everything else is pretty much the same. Filed/Accepted on 01/26/2026, Pather.
