Finally got the stupid letter. It’s dated 02/02 but none of the reps I talked to could ever tell me when or if it was sent out. Nor did my IRS account ever say I had a notice mailed. There was no indication I needed to verify on WMR, and I only found out about the hold up because I logged into my IRS account and saw the notification.

I already completed the verification online last night but based on the many reports of others who verified online only to have it not register, I will also be calling the verification helpline on Tuesday to complete over the phone. I did get the “Verification Complete – processing may take up to 9 weeks” message. Still don’t trust it.

With any luck I hope I’m one of those people whose refund is released a few days after the verification is complete. Good luck to everyone in the same boat.

The lack of notification and information about this process sucks. When I called the reps all said I could wait as long as 21 days for the letter to be mailed out. And that if it didn’t come it could be another 21 days for the next letter. After that, I would then be eligible to verify in person. So glad this thing finally came. Ugh.

Lmao @ like normal people. I usually do sleep at night but sometimes I don’t need to get up very early so I hang out. In other news I just got my refund deposit a few minutes ago, so the 3/9 was not accurate for me at all. Good luck!!

I’ve seen so many people get 846 and post it on here then later on in the day or have their refund in their accounts. I’m guessing those people paid their fees upfront or e filed for free like me. Hoping for a deposit soon.

Nice! 846 w/ 3/9 as well as of this morning. I was asleep like normal people when it updated. Looks like it won’t be 9 weeks after all.

I have 846 with a DDD of 03/09/26 as of 1AM CST.

I’m in the same boat my letter came last Tuesday and I verified the same day, my as of date was 2/16 until this morning and it changed to 2/23 I’m a weekly so hopefully I’ll have an update with a 846 this Friday.

Yeah I seem to be a weekly each year also. To my understanding, once you become a weekly it pretty much stays like that unless something changes like much higher income or filling a different type of return or claiming new credits maybe. Also, we prob wouldn’t see any changes til Thursday or Friday even though we already verified. Mine is usually accurate with the date but I’m hoping my new bank this year is processing fast.

I might be weekly but one thing I know is that I have always used NHB’s and e file. My deposit usually hits before anything updates which is pretty cool but frustrating at the same time.

Still no transcript movement or wmr. I can’t believe my transcripts and wmr display no info. I e filed on and accepted 1/26. Smh

I verified otp this morning too. The rep had a lot more questions for me than the online verification. I assume the online part never actually took because I feel like she would have said it was already done. This has been so crazy. Fingers crossed.

Same thing happened to me. I just verified over the phone this morning. Hoping to be one of the ones released in a few days as well. I’ll post an update here when I have it.
