WMR updated 2bars with stimulus amount subtracted with recieve by 3/1 date. Transcripts have 864 02/24/22 so I’m thinking deposit will be within next few days. So with 3rd stimulus error I filed on 1/24 and got 864 on 02/17. Not bad at all.
I did the same thing.. My transcript is already updated with the correct amount(credit balance) and I have a pending further action code with an as of cycle date of 2/28/2022 so I’m thinking my 864 code will be within the next 3/4 days with a DDD of 2/21 or 2/22. I’ll keep you posted. The reason I made the mistake was I read it as “did you get a 3 stimulus checks in 2021?”. I read that like 15% of filers so far have made this error. Good Luck
February 10, 2022 at 12:25 pm in reply to: “Return is still processing” message BEFORE the 21 days? #4507883Same thing here. Not a Pather, filed/accepted 1/24. Even had PIN. And amount generally the same for last 10 years .
Sorry Nathan, meant nervous mama.
Nathan,
I filed on 1/26 and I also used credit karma for the first time and have not been accepted yet. I’m not stressing yet but am starting to get that uneasy feeling. Hope we see some movement tonight brother.Just- I just got the letter today. My bars disappeared yesterday. Last year I didn’t get my dough for 3 months brother. The year before went quickly. The difference was my tax advocate last year was a complete idiot. The year before I actually contacted a representative in the amended return area even though it wasn’t an amended return and the guy was awesome. I had my loot in less than a week. What is killing me is my returns have been the same for the last 3 years. And I’ve had to send every income document under the sun . No mistakes. I am so frustrated and recommend to all in this predicament to contact a tax advocate.
Lauren I received a letter 4464C and this is ridiculous. 3 years in a row I have had to verify everything and send documentation, and do an oral exam over the phone with my wife. I am disabled, collect a pension and SSI Disability which means my tax return this year is identicl to last year’s and the year’s before. I was accepted on 01/18/17 and will be contacting a Tax Advocate for the 3rd consecutive year.
Yes Sam read the post that says letter in the mail. It’s extremely disappointing to say the least bud.
Lauren I got a review letter for the 3rd year in a row and absolutely nothing has changed. I have been on a fixed income for last 5 years. No EIC and No Additional Child Tax Credit. I am contacting Tax Advocate tomorrow. Filed 1/18. This is ridiculous. Was an absolute nightmare last year and I am not going through that again. By the way account transcript is blank and lost bars yesterday. You are not alone Lauren.
A quick note to add on NO EIC or ACTC,
February 6, 2017 at 8:23 am in reply to: Accepted 1/18 and bars disappeared yesterday (2/4). Anyone else in my boat??? #4159565Same here buddy and exact same thing happened last year. Filed 1/17, accepted 1/18 this year. Bars disappeared last night. If it follows same suit as last year we should have a date Wednesday. I cant take much more of this. Next year I am not filing until the date they say they start processing
Traci,
No in fact my “as of date of 2/13/17” changed to “as of 2/20/17”. And the transcript is still blank otherwise. I am so fed up with the IRS. I am almost 100 percent sure that they basically resequenced almost everyone who filed prior to 01/23/17. The frustrating part of this is that I don’t have any EIC or ACTC issues. I am permanently disabled and collecting my pension so my return is practically identical to last years. If I don’t see some progress by Wednesday (21 days) I will be calling, but I am certain they will try to push me off till 21 days after 1/23/17.PS……….Tara or Chris, did you guys get an update?
Thanks to all for any insight
No it says N/A
I agree, filed 17th, accepted 18th, no EIC no ACTC, and NO MOVEMENT. I feel like a large majority of the people that have had movement filed on 1/23/17 or later. I really feel like the IRS is penalizing the people who filed before the official “start date”. Its pretty obvious that the majority of us have 1 bar, blank transcripts, and no answers as to why.

Guys I think that we will see some movement tomorrow. I spent the better part of the day scouring the web and found multiple cases where people get approved approx. 10-11 days before the as of date at the top of their otherwise blank account transcript (in my case 02/13/2017) and receive a DDD 1-3 days later. So in my case my transcript should be updated (02/01/17-02/03/17) and I should receive my deposit (02/04/2017-02/06/2017). Hope this helps out.
Tara how long did it take for this to update?
Thanks man, that makes me feel a little better.
Tara,
Relax everything is good. They processing your refund as we speak. That is why you could even pull your account transcript. Does it say “02/13/2017” as of date up top? If so then plan reviving your refund by next weekend at the latest.Filed my bud’s taxes on 02/04 No update on WMR until this a.m saying deposit scheduled for 02/18. Lo and behold his loot was deposited on Friday 02/12. I filed on 01/25 and still No progress, no bars, etc…Go figure.
I posted earlier. Its a processing error that occurred last week via IRS system that put literally thousands of accounts in limbo. The scary thing is the representative, who helped me last year, told me it could delay us up to 8 weeks. I sure hope not.
I just got off of the phone with a rep from the amended tax return department who helped me big time last year and he told me this. I lost my bars this past Friday and have had the generic message since then. I filed on 1/22. He said that my return was kicked out of processing because of some systematic issue the IRS had last week and that my return was just reentered into the processing queue and needs to be released for approval he said this could take up to 8 weeks. I have simple return people. No EIC and no offsets. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this guy is straight up, no BS. I am beyond frustrated.
