All of a sudden I have an audit status. NY is a joke. Had been processing since 1/28 and now they want to audit. They’re trying to get out of paying interest.
Still waiting as well. Been processing since 1/28. No audits, no under review, just processing.
@bella this is definitely insane. The bad part is I’m not under review just been processing.. I work for the IRS and I know for a fact that neither the state or federal govt uses systems and technology that not great and because humans are not processing the actual returns who really knows what’s going on.
Like most of you guys my New York State return had been processing since January 27 .I spike to a representative and was told that they only see that my return is processing but it looks like something is keeping it from fully processing, so the representative put in an inquiry to the processing department to find out what the holdup was. I’ve never waited this long and I was told if nothing happens within 30 days they give them a call back.
Tried to give you guys an update on my state refund but it seems my comment had been rejected.
