ii got 2/24 ddd on transcript but calling that number got me sent to h&r then got hung up on. bank shows no incoming deposit, meta keeps transfering me to h&r and h&r has now told me up to 10-14 business days extra since i did direct deposit. im getting irate.

Guys it is very possible depending on your bank for you to get your deposit tomorrow regardless of what some online tool is saying. I had a DDD of 2/24 last year as well (checked transcripts) and money was in my acct 2/23/21 – USAA. So relax.

@meagan if you did your Id verify almost two weeks ago depending on if your a weekly update or daily you should receive an update either Wednesday or Saturday this Saturday will be two weeks exactly since I verified mine so I’m hoping for an DDD this weekend since I’m a weekly account Ive had to do this for the past 3 years and it never took longer than 2 to 3 weeks at the most instead of the 9 they tell you hang in there it’s coming

hiloshark has no idea what they’re talking about… That’s not at all how this works. I’ve personally been dealing with TT and SBTPG for over a decade. It’s true you probably won’t get it BEFORE your DDD but there is very little truth to anything else being said. I’ve always gotten my payment on my DDD… SBTPG very seldom updates before that day.

SBTPG and other fee collection companies are not allowed to interupt distribution of funds.

@lady yeah I know for some banks it is a bit of a risk from what I remember I was always told if it was from the treasury. That was different because that was about as close to guaranteed as you could get but I do agree with what you’re saying but I’m guessing it’ll be tomorrow. @hiloshark it honestly sounds like you’re trying to sound smart, but you don’t understand how many things work. They’re allowed sending it on the 24th if they so choose. Will they? Possibly not, but the DDD IS the 24th, which means that if it was coming directly from the federal reserve from IRS they could send it on the 24th and they state to allow up until March 1st.

We filed & were accepted on 2/10. We have no child credits or earned income. We only have college tuition & related expenses. We have no changes to our return except we went from two incomes to one. We’ve never received a refund until this year.

Is this a normal time frame or could we have an issue.

sounds about right. if going straight to you without sbbt you get it today. if through sbbt youll get it tomorrow. this is the way its been since i started using tt in 2004. its never changed. some years yeah youd get it 2 days early, but my experience is usually the day before DDD

@Austin, they already announced it in the fine print that if you received the advance or had your fees taken out of your refund that they will not be releasing them early.

once again. they cant just release your money on the 24th. thats not how th ACH works. they need 24hrs to send it. so it must be sent by sbpgt by tonight to get it to your acct by the 24th. they CANNOT release money and it just automaticly show up in your acct. that not how bank transfers work.

Haha yea I feel that however it does concern me that people who did not use TT are getting their refunds early like liberty tax. Somebody with a DDD of 2/24 already received their refund about an hour ago. I probably won’t be using TurboTax anymore. Hopefully everybody will receive good news shortly.

I actually just took the persons advice above. The 846 code with the deposit amount is listed at the very bottom of my transcript instead of the top! Hope this helped!

After what I read in don’t expect see it till maybe tomorrow. Didn’t know it’s sends out notes basically first then just day-days before your ddd sends money. Some banks release once they get notice but they take the gamble. I don’t gamble so I understand not releasing money before you get it. I honestly thought they sent money week prior but they don’t.

I’m not sure you can check the MetaBank site to see if your fees can be paid? I’ve seen people mentioning the SBT or whatever site but I’ve never seen somebody able to check Meta until these posts.

I filed on Jan 20th. I got the delay message on the 8th. I called Friday and was told that there was an error, that it was processed on the 9th and I should see a change in a week because it does take 3 weeks. Today I called to just check if they will tell me the same thing and the guy told me that there is an error and it needs to be processed. That I should rcv a letter from IRS. Also to contact my employer to resend the W2 again to IRS. He said it can take 30-120 days.

I have the same codes and my balance/refund amount showing now is $1,500 less than I had expected. Just a curiosity did everyone here use HR Block as I think they messed up my return again this year and somehow double count the 250 per month/1,500 from July to Dec into my refund amount? Same thing happened last year with stimulus money

I just got off the phone with them again and they said it is getting escalated and if I don’t see any money by Tuesday then to call back. I asked what is going on and they wouldn’t tell me. I completely agree I had to deal with irs last year because of error on my part. Didn’t get refund till late March/April. spoke to sbtpg rep who was very kind & looked up my stuff since my deposit shows unfunded on the site but the phone says something abt my refund advance I didn’t take He said the site is messed up and telling everyone their unfunded or shows no amount or showing extra fees that arent going to be taken out. Stated my deposit was release to them with a DD 24TH said fees have not been taken out & won’t until tomorrow and will be released the 24th
