Hi All! This is my third year filing IS and my third year being a part of this forum. I am happy, yet sad to see some familiar names back again. I am only sad because we are playing the waiting game once again.
My story: I filed and was accepted 2/21. I have the 576 code on my transcripts and my as of date changed on Friday from 3/17/14 to 3/31/14. Does this date mean anything? Also, I have a cycle date of 20140905 which I calculated to be exactly 11 weeks from my file date. I can’t remember if this date means anything or not.
Last year was horrific. We filed in February and did not receive our refund until June. My prayer is that this year is not as bad.
The waiting continues…I have been keeping up with this thread for weeks now and decided to chime in. I will continue to wait with the rest of you. I filed 3/4,accepted 3/6. Tomorrow will start my 7th week of waiting. WMR says “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” This is my second year filing injured spouse. Last year it took alot longer due to an amended return. This year I am just anxious to get my money. I called the IRS and was basically told that it will take 11 weeks and to call back if I haven’t received anything. Looks like I have 4 more weeks to go. I am hoping for something sooner, we shall see…
