Yes the offset normally shows on transcript with the amount next to it. I have had offsets before and normally you get the remainder. Your WMR updated?

The refund you’ll receive is next to your 846 code. From my understanding, if there are no offsets listed when you call, it could mean that the offset was already paid or there aren’t any offsets. It’s been pretty dry on here, my recommendation is to go on R E D D I T, they have an interactive “irs” forum similar to this one with lots of information.

I checked my transcripts and it shows 846 dd 3/5/25 for the full amount. However, I checked wmr and it says it was approved but MIGHT be offset and if I do t receive the direct deposit by 3/10 to contact them. I called the offset line and there are no offsets. Soo.. anyone else have this issue? If you have an offset doesn’t it show on transcript?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

If you look at your old returns it will say AS OF 03/17 most likely. It’s basically “this is your credits etc… or interest up to AS OF DATE”

Weird as my friend is a processor and said they cannot verify without the control number that gets mailed. Mine mailed 02/12 and received 02/21 and verified that day. Still blank here!

I did my verification over the phone (I’m in NC) on 2/25. Transcript update this morning & got 846 for 3/5. I filed online through HR Block & use Chime. So now I’m waiting. If I remember correctly, I think we usually get ours ON the ddd they give us or the day before. 🤞🤞

I received three 971 codes Feb 24 2025 march 3rd 2025 , march 10 2025. And some reason with no code my date changed to 3/17/2025. Accepted on Jan 27 processing date february 17 2025. Cycle 05. So Monday 3/ 2025. Will 846 come?

The notice/letter wasn’t viewable in the online account. I received it, it was a 4464c. Time to wait. Nothing exciting or different in my tax return.

My code 570 hold including a 4664c letter being sent. 60 days hold potentially, to review income, credits, withholding, etc. They don’t want any information/action from me at this time.

Not exactly sure what they are looking for, a very similar tax return compared to last year. Hopefully it clears faster than 60 days.

Also wanted to add that while my IRS account showed no 2024 return on file and didn’t have anything for 2024 transcripts, my husband (filed jointly) did have a 2024 transcript but it was blank. So, if you are not the primary person on the return, and you don’t have anything for 2024 showing, maybe check the primary person’s transcripts to see if they have anything.

Files 2/4 accepted same day called on the 26th because no updates. They said a letter was mailed on the 21st. I called back the next day to see if I can verify over the phone answered some questions and they said I have to wait to receive the letter. I hope after I verify they update that same week.
