Yes, they will be sending you the remaining amount after applying such amount to the offset to your card. I believe prepaid cards have the ability to release sooner AT THE CARDS DISCRETION.

I would recommended checking back after 3am EST time.
I just wanted to clarify to make sure I understood your question. You are asking to see if you are going to be receive your refund sooner than the 26?
That depends if you have a prepaid card or not or do you normally bank with a financial institution..

My state sent my refund this morning to my account by 3pm it was like pending. It’s like sitting in there staring at me.. just saying SPEEND MEEE

They don’t update until about 3am I believe.
Don’t go locking yourself out before it even updates!
Best way to tell is to call their automated line.

@Briana – I agree. I predicted that with that trend we would receive a refund for this Friday 2/21 but it sounds like they treated PATHERs as weekly and they won’t process until this Thursday with DDD of 2/27.
@Tanish. Ahhh.. that was super unfortunate! Hopefully we’ll be happy refunding soon! Safari wasn’t working well so now I have to use the google browser.

It all started..
No. Great question and here is how I determined it to be.
Now that the IRS is working towards a daily processing system; they start by doing a weekly cycle called the GMF which operate from (Thursday-Wednesday). Now returns that are not sitting on a 2 day window and is “prescreened” to go ahead into the next process will begin processing with the IMF Weekly processing schedule which processes (Friday-Thursday). Weekly processing completes for that bath on Thursday evening and information will post and release the following day. However since the PATH act has been initiated for taxpayers who claim EIC and ACTC, they implemented a CADE2 which absolutely freezes the refund and blocks it from transcripts as they are not allowed to release it until 2/15. So depending on if you are a weekly or a daily. When you are done processing on Thursday. That will post and release the following day which is a Friday for DDD in 4 business days. Well the 15th was a Saturday and Path lifted. Monday is a holiday. So the 4th business day would land on Friday 2/21.
