am i the only person in the world who used the cash app card to dd their refund on…? starting to think that wasn’t a smart idea cause no one else is doing it
Hey, i was in the same boat. I got my letter on january 29th and i checked WMR refund today and my bars were back with a DDD. unfortunately they deducted 331 from my refund but its better than the advertised 6-8 weeks i would have to wait. Oh and i faxed my forms in the same day I got the letter. So it took about 3 weeks from when i faxed to have my DDD.
Not exactly, it’s normal if it goes down and comes right back up within 24 hours. Mine went down and hasnt came back up. I just got a letter in the mail from the IRS wanting me to send a copy of my 1095a and form 8963(i think) cause I didn’t file it with my tax return cause turbo tax is dumb and never prompted me to file it. Plus I was dumb and filed as soon as I got my w2 instead of waiting to see if i had anything else to file. But pretty much if you had marketplace healthcare and you didnt file a 1095a on your taxes then that would be one reason why your bars are gone. If you didn’t have government crap healthcare then more than likely its just an id verification

Yeah that’s what I heard as well. Thank you for trying but I’m pretty sure that one month I had healthcare coverage is gonna cause me to owe about $60 bucks…Last year when I filed I apparently received a higher credit for healthcare than expected so my refund was cut in half since I had marketplace healthcare for that whole year. So last year when I did my taxes and figured out that my refund was affected so much I went to my healthcare plan and made sure my income was correct on my marketplace account so that I wouldn’t owe for this year. Well when I changed my income it shot my premium up from $50 a month to $280 a month. I had already paid the initial $50 premium since I had changed my income after I had paid but I couldn’t afford 280 every month for the rest of the year so I just didn’t pay it cause I saw no where that I could cancel my plan. So that one month of January that I had coverage I’m going to have to pay the difference which somehow comes out to like 60 bucks which is confusing in itself. I found that out by going to Turbo Tax and doing my taxes like normal and including my 1095a form but without filing so I wouldnt cause a double file situation and it only dropped my refund 60 bucks. It’s all so confusing and the whole healthcare marketplace was a joke form the beginning mainly because when you applied for healthcare for the following year it pretty much makes you guess at what your annual income for that year will be so an accurate tax credit is almost impossible based off that. So that one stupid month of healthcare that I had that I didn’t use is messing me up. The IRS has a copy of my 1095a so I’m hoping that whoever reviews my return sees how simple of a fix this is and just subtracts what I owe out of my refund and go ahead and approve it but I doubt my luck will be that good since it’s the IRS. Long story short, I have no healthcare and I’m a poor dude needing his refund that’s not getting it anytime soon lolFebruary 2, 2020 at 7:10 pm in reply to: if you lost bars and it’s says still being processed #4336875I didn’t file my 1095a and I’m in this situation. accepted on 1/13 and saturday my bars went away. I forgot all about my healthcare form cause my premium was still too high so I only paid the initial premium so only had coverage or “tax credit” for January. When I got my form January was the only column that had numbers on in and the rest were 0. But as soon as I got the form in the mail I knew I messed up cause I filed without it. A little upset with Turbo Tax though cause I’ve used them every year and never had a problem. Last year they prompted me to include the 1095a form so I didn’t miss that step and this year when I filed it never came up but oh well. I hate it cause I have a big bill due next week that I was hoping to pay with my refund but now I gotta wait to see how to handle this. It sucks cause I know what the issue is and it’s a VERY simple fix due to only have one month of coverage and credits to enter into my taxes so it could be fixed so simply and quick but its the IRS…no telling when I will get my refund now.
@Ants Did you file any healthcare marketplace forms? I read somewhere that it might have something to do with not filing marketplace forms or something like that. IDK but I know I’m freaking out lol. I got a big bill I was supposed to pay beginning of this month and was really looking for my refund to help pay this.
accepted on 1/13. last night at midnight my one bar was gone and I had nothing. This morning woke up and checked it and I still have no bars? Same message of it’s still being processed but no bars. After reading the recent posts I’m worried now cause it should’ve updated like the rest of you guys
Same, filed 1/3, accepted 1/13. still on one bar. single and simple return, no credits or anything the the 152 tax topic. So what is this about being a weekly? Does that mean that we might get a DDD Friday/tomorrow?
