I do have EIC and I don’t know in what order they are releasing them. I did however call yesterday and reiterate to the agent I’ve had the same address, same dependents, same job and same checking account information every year. Then this morning wah lah.

I still had a negative sign with the refund amount yesterday. This morning it said 0.00 refund issues 1/10/17 and this afternoon around 4 I noticed in my account a pending deposit scheduled to clear Monday.

I filed and was accepted the 27th. EIC and ACTC and my credit union shows deposit for Monday 2/13

Your refund was issued by direct deposit on 10-Feb-2017. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to be deposited, and check with your bank to confirm.

Like I posted last week, this is because of the federal government holding all tax returns containing EIC and ACTC. Some states are on board with that and IF your state return is partially EIC which is based off of your EIC amount from your federal return, they will not release any refunds until the federal returns are cleared and sent. I’ve let this go a week ago and accepted it. It’s easier that way.

I had to ID verify the last 2 years. If you move, change your checking account info, new dependent, anything different, they usually have you ID verify. You might be able to see the letter if you log into the website. It’s a link and a personalized password and then 3 questions only you would know the answers to.

That’s actually a good sign. As soon as your answer the questions online they will process probably over night. Do you have EIC??

I’m telling you guys, the turn around time for MA is usually 5-7 days. It’s because of the PATH law this year. Why else would it go from 5-7 days every other year to 4-6 weeks this year?? Ridiculous.

I wonder is czarface has EIC and if so, why they told him 5 days.

I just called and the lady I spoke with told me nothing will be released until AFTER federal releases their returns which is after 2/15 for anyone receiving EIC.

I filed on the 27th as well. Still processing. Massachusetts is usually fast.

I filed on Friday, 1/27. Accepted the same day. Still have generic 4-6 week message. Which is weird for MA. It’s usually 4 days.
