      @jason

Spoke to a representative at the DOR this afternoon and she told me that our deposits “might” be here on Friday, but also that they might be here 5 business days from Friday.

      -_-

I see a lot of you still complaining – – and understandably so, but did you do as I suggested and email the Governor’s office?

I emailed them, they responded within 24 hours, forwarded my message to someone competent at the DoR, and instead of spewing that “6-10 weeks” BS they told me what I needed to do, and now my bars went from Validating to I’ll be getting my money within a few days.

Swallow your pride and take care of your business, because if you don’t you’ll be sitting at the bottom of the pile with everyone else and pushed to the backburner probably right until before the 45-day mark.

I finally got a response from the gov’s office. They forwarded my information to the DOR and the person replied back and said – – – (drumroll please) that my Missouri returns weren’t signed therefore they couldn’t be processed.

Why couldn’t they just tell me that within the first 3 times that I called? :-\

So, anyone who has been waiting longer than 2 weeks to get processed, I suggest you sign your returns, scan it, and email it to [email protected] just to be on the safe side.

What is going on with people having a DDD and not getting the money deposited into their accounts – – sometimes for even weeks at a time?

              I give up.

I just sent a scathing email to the Dep. of Revenue after getting off ANOTHER phone call with ZERO answers. At this point I think we should all rally and call or email Governor Parson.

                Whoever this may concern,

I have called, sent emails, and nobody seems to know any answers other than “it will take up to 10-12 weeks for processing” or “there is a glitch in the system.”

I am at my wits end because I am a taxpaying citizen disabled veteran and I keep getting the runaround…but if I OWED money, I am pretty sure you would want your money without any excuses. Plus, I sent Taylor Hollingsworth an email 3 days ago asking a simple question and haven’t gotten a response, when I know it takes less than 2 minutes to respond to a basic question about my account.

So at this point, I will need a direct email to my State Governor Parson so that I can write a letter, or a telephone number will do. If I don’t get a response to this email, I have no issue with driving from St. Louis to personally speak with him or his representative.

                – – –

I went through the exact same thing year with jumping through hoops for monies that are owed to me, and this year it is worse: you claimed there was a “glitch” in your system and my taxes were never received when I electronically submitted them January 28…and I never would have known they weren’t received had I not took the initiative to call. However, my aunt and grandmother used the EXACT software I used and we all filed on the same day and theirs went through without a hitch.

So yes, I need to get in contact with Gov. Parson. I am disabled and on a fixed income…if I weren’t in dire straits I wouldn’t be so adamant about this.

                  My (Hellish) Tax Journal: (con’t)

Checked the system 2/9/19 and I am now validating.

Its moving along smoothly now that I sent all my documents in.

AT – I just checked the MO Dept of Revenue Facebook page and apparently there are job openings for tax processors…I’m tempted to apply just so I can push my stuff through.

So maybe the reason for all the lollygagging is lack of employees – – – but that ain’t our problem.

If we end up owing money they’ll be on our backs day and night, so I want them to keep that same energy when it comes to OUR money.

                      My (Hellish) Tax Journal:

I filed 1/27, was accepted 1/28 through Turbo Tax so I got electronic submission saying that both Federal + State was pushed through.

However, I just received my Federal return a few days ago but whenever I checked the website for my State it kept saying that they had NO record of receiving my State return.

I figured enough was enough and decided to call. (573-751-3505)
I spoke with an agent and she clarified that my return was indeed NOT received due to a “glitch” in their systems. (Keep in mind, my aunt and grandmother’s went through without a hitch and we all filed the SAME day using the SAME software.)

                      Pfft.

I scanned all my files, and emailed them to [email protected] checked the website today and *viola* guess who’s taxes were finally received.

…the exact same thing happened last year. Missouri is a trip. I guess I have to wait 8-10 weeks to receive my money if they don’t require anything else from me.

                      What a joke.
