Week*
I really think if I didn’t get a TA I would still be waiting. It took me 5 weeks after faxing in my forms and getting told nothing to finally call up and get a TA assigned to my case. After 1 weeks of getting a TA I got my refund date.
Omg update finally after a long 6 weeks for faxing my papers! I have a refund date of 03/28 and oh here’s the catch…my amount didn’t even change at all…i don’t even understand why I had to go through this smh
@keysha I’m really hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel. This has dragged on far too long :(
So here’s my update- I truly don’t even have one since my last update…except that I was able to finally get a tax advocate who of course seemed to rush me off the phone and even gave me a wrong fax number so I had to call the local office back and got the correct one from the receptionist.
Efiled- 01/17
Accepted-01/18
Letter received to fax for 8962 &1095A -02/10
Faxed documents-02/13Called numerous times and was told that they didn’t see my documents have been scanned in. Even requested transcript by mail which then I received a letter stating they didn’t have one on file for me yet. Got assigned a tax advocate who contacted me this past Friday, 03/09 who then asked me to fax her the documents plus proof of hardship which I faxed over the same day after receiving correct fax # after calling and getting it from the receptionist. Called back yesterday, 03/12 and receptionist confirmed fax was received at the advocate office and an estimated completion date is 04/06 ….this has been by far a nightmare.
@Cameron Taylor I feel the same way. I actually got a hold of some super nice reps when I called who placed me on hold a number of times to look into if they got my fax but I am being told that they can’t see anything about my taxes cuz paperwork hasn’t even been scanned in. Then I see ppls updates who faxed in later than me already got a DDD date and able to pull their transcript.
My WMR has had no bars and just says “Still Processing” and then all my transcripts say N/A for 2017 except for the wage transcript which when I do click into it, the document says, “No return on file”
Here’s my timeline:
Efiled efiled through Tax Act: 01/17
Email saying return was approved: 01/18
WMR bars gone: 02/08
Recvd letter for form 8962 & 1095A on 02/12
Faxed all requested documents to the fax number on the letter with cover page on 02/13
Still can’t get any answers or updates for refund and being told they can’t see anything except the last update where they mailed me a letter to request my docs. Sooo frustrating!!
I am really starting to feel discouraged. Absolutely nothing has updated for me since faxing in my documents on 02/13 and for 3 reps to even tell me they don’t even see my docs have been “scanned in yet” is so frustrating. I’m so tempted to refax everything
So I’ve spoken to 3 reps today who actually helped me and went into the system to see if my documents I faxed in on 02/13 was received and all 3 reps said that they do not see any updates that they received my fax. The latest update they see is that they sent me a letter letting me know what I needed to fax in. I’m so frustrated cuz I don’t want to refax and then it hold it up any longer than it has. I’m seeing that ppl who sent in their info later than me are getting the DDD and transcript. Anyone else in the same boat as me? I faxed it to the fax # that was on the letter and even have a fax receipt saying it went through. The fax number on the letter was 1 855 892 7588
