Yes 😢 nothing here DDD 2/23 I’m checking SBTPG all day but I guess still waiting on IRS to release funds
Got my DDD of 2/23 on transcripts this morning.. republic bank still says as of 5:44pm CST they haven’t received a refund for my social 😒. Anyone else?
“TPG does not hold your money. When a deposit is received from the IRS, your money is processed as soon as it received and typically issued within 24 hours of receipt. If you selected direct deposit, it may take 1-2 business days to reach your bank account”

Remember irs has to send millions of funds so they are doing this in batches because all at once would shut their systems down!
@Chris I thought SBTG was the one who took the advance money and the fees? So it has to go to the advance bank first, then sbtg then my account. Okay. So definitely not until next week.
We bank with Wells Fargo and get deposits 2 days early. Sometimes they come on Saturday’s for us, twice monthly pay that falls on the 1st and 15th and it usually comes 2-5 days early. We filed with TT.
This is the last year I’ll get a refund advance and the last year I use TT.
You are correct. If you had paid your fees upfront then it would have been sent straight to your account. If you got an advance then it would go to that company and be subject to thier policies (i.e. CK) and if not it would go directly to your personal bank, and be subject to thiers. Most banks apply credit before the actual payment is transferred, but SBTPG waits until the transfer is complete so they can get paid in full for fees before releasing the rest of the return.
mine is showing unfunded as well. I guess we are looking at next week before we get paid!
Mine says the same as well. I didn’t get the loan but did have my fees taken out of taxes. Says unfunded all day :(
I’m also having put in my checking account so will probably be longer than the 23!

I’ve seen ppl post with ddd of 2/22 this afternoon who still show unfunded on SBTPG :(I totally agree. I have NEVER used TT. Always used HR Block and Chime. Get it on the 16th like clockwork. I’m in the same boat. DDD 2/23. SBTG says unfunded. Credit Karma account all 0’s.
5:18pm and no deposit in my Wells Fargo account. Looks like I’m waiting until at least Tuesday evening.
Am I wrong to say that if I had NOT filed with TT and had fees taken out of return, that I’d already have my money?!
I’m seeing a plethora of awesome posts about those with NetSpend, Chime, etc. having their money post- and that’s awesome.
I’m just sitting over here with my 846 code wishing I had gone with another company. TT/SBTPG is not the way to go. I’ll remember that next year.

I bank with Wells Fargo as well. I filed with TT but I paid fees up front. Once that clock hits 5pm, it’ll be next business day. Since Monday is a holiday, that means it’s Tuesday in their system. If 2/23 is your DDD (like mine is), it should drop in there tonight…IN THEORY lol. My work paychecks drop in the night before I’m supposed to get paid, but my employer also doesn’t transmit them to banks until the day before payday.
They charge a fee?! You guys who see your accounts saying funded, when is your ddd?
I used turbo tax with fees took out. Check in here when your refund hits sbtpg
Well, I’ll never use CK again. Or get a refund advance. I don’t know why I did. I always file my taxes for free and use chime. Get it like clockwork the day after my transcripts update EVERY YEAR. The CK card advertises that you get your tax refund 5 days early! I got the advance and fees taken out, so I guess I’m looking at the day of. But I’ve seen people with fees getting theirs and SBTG not updating. Has anyone seen someone with advance and fees get their refund?!

All who bank with WF check in here! I have a DDD of 2/23 & get my deposits 2 days early. Not sure if I will get it this weekend or Tuesday due to the holiday Monday, but I hope I see my DD this weekend. Also, I paid fee’s with my refund & filed w TT, so it may take a couple days longer due to having to wait in SBTPG.
No, SBTPG does not hold your money, they just don’t pre credit it upon transfer notice. They wait until they actually receive the payment to take fees and do transfers. Alot of banks offer “2 days early” and they credit the account upon notice of transfer, not completion of transfer. The later is what SBTPG uses. They wait to be paid before dispersement of the rest of your return.

This is some straight b.s. Credit Karma chat rep just advised me if we did the advance then we wont get our deposits early. We will get it on our said DDD
I think that rep was prob told to tell everyone that. they are prob flooded with calls. No where in any of the fine print does it say if you get advance you wait until actual day. And no where in SBTPG fine print does it state they hold refunds for a day to get interest.Mimi

My cycle code is the same 20230505. My date is also Feb 20 but I have the 846 or whatever code. And I didn’t see anything in my credit karma account
They use Pathward bank.
My transcripts updated today to DDD 2/23/23. I used Credit Karma w/ advance and paid the TT fees upfront. Ya’ll saying it should hit later today? SBTG still showing unfunded.

If HRB doesn’t use SBTG for fees or deposits to accounts what bank do they use to take fees out of return?

After seeing several ppl that used TT with or without advance deposit to Credit karma say their acct on SBTPG is still showing unfunded and they had 2/22 ddd, and my ddd being 2/23 I’m losing hope I’ll see it today.
Although I’ve heard from others that in pst CK didn’t show deposits until after 5pm est.
guess next year I need to deposit to chime or cashapp. Those ppl get theirs so fast lol
