I received the same code!!!!! And I just checked my transcripts and there is no code for offset notice on my account. I have called the treasury number and it says their is no offset found but it can be updated daily… I hope this is just some mistaken notice.

Well, it’s a good morning! I rechecked the WMR at 545am and the bar has moved! It says I should receive before 2-28. So I’m guessing with chime and the actual date on transcript being 2-23, I should get it around the 21st or 22nd due to Mon 20th being a holiday. So thankful! Hoping for a quick turnout for everyone else too!

I am in the same boat. I filed 1/24 & was accepted 1/27 & I am seeing the still processing message on WMR & no updates have occurred on my transcripts. I’m only claiming EIC this year though. This is also the 1st year I’m filing Single after a separation.

I am getting CTC, EIC and ACTC this is the first year we have qualified for the EIC and ACTC.

My transcripts say N/A and WMR just updated to Still Processing. I am assuming the IRS will be sending me a letter in the mail but I wanted to see if anyone else has gone through this situation.

I bank with Wells Fargo & get my DD’s 2 days early. SBTPG still says unfunded. Patiently waiting to see if I get a surprise early deposit tomorrow morning seeing as Monday is President’s Day & I’ve been seeing alot of people say they got their deposits early. I think IRS & others are pushing out refunds early so their not overwhelmed after the upcoming holiday

The sad part after reading all the comments is we know that SBTPG has our funds for 2/23 ddd or no one else would have received their refunds with same ddd. Years of going thru SBTPG and tt and I’ve ALWAYS RECEIVED THE Friday before my ddd . Never on another day :/

Don’t quote me on this, I think sbtpg is a middle man basically they are paid to handle the money that is owed to the tax companies and places you get the avance to make sure they get there money before we do because 90% of peeps wouldn’t pay back what is owed

Let me start by saying this, no bank is obligated to give you access to fund before the DDD. Most traditional banks don’t even do that. Non-traditional banks do but it’s actually a “loan” because they see a transfer coming to your account. Early direct deposit usually only works with recurring deposits like payroll and/or state and federal deposits because they are guaranteed to clear.

I’ve been doing these boards for years and it took a few tax seasons to realize how certain things work. Now I atleast know what I’m in for when I accept having fees taken out. I still come here every year hopeful, but have solice knowing ultimately how it will end up. No reason to get frustrated, it’s better than paper checks, and we’ll all have our money no later than the 23rd.

Yeah, I’ve been hearing that as well, but no one can actually prove it. Year after year there’s always people saying. It is possible, sure but I highly doubt it. I’ve been using Turbo Tax and SBTPG for year and never got it more than a day earlier than my DDD.

I just want to share my experience last year for others to know what might to expect. I filed in February and soon after got a letter asking for W2s. I had multiple W2s and I was asked to fax them. I faxed them the very next day and they finally processed my return in October… it took them 6 months!!!

DDD 2/23 -SBTG shows unfunded. I always used TT with fees taken out and I would usually get it a few days to the morning before the deposit date. I switched to HRB for a few years and have no idea why I went back to TT. I guess we will wait until the 23rd!

@Jessica No, SBTPG is the advance bank. It’ll go to them first, then they will disperse to CK after outstanding balances are paid. That part they facilitate quickly, but they don’t send to CK until they have the money in hand, which is usually the day before the DDD.

I stopped using TT due to SBTPG. They took forever to release my funds. I’m using H&R this year and it doesn’t seem like it will be much different. Atleast you can track your refund on SBTPG.

If you got the refund advance or paid fees through the refund it ALL goes through SBTPG. They get paid, they release the funds. I haven’t seen them release the funds faster than a day before the DDD though, maybe once it was 2 days in advance, but I’ve never not had my money on the DDD even using a traditional bank.

If you got the fees paid for through Turbo Tax you will NOT get it until the DDD date. People had the same issues last year.

TT isn’t the issue. I have a ddd of 23rd. I skipped the fees being taken out of my refund and glad I did. Something told me to pay upfront and bypass sbb or whatever that bank is called. And I used tt and chime and got my refund 2pm today.

@momof5-2008 Even if it was funded on SBTPG they will not release the funds till the very last minute unfortunately. They do it every single year and hold up a lot of refunds. If you have a DDD of the 23rd, you can mostly expect it as early as the 22nd but no sooner.
