I had property tax offset for this year, that came out of my state refund.
Hopefully someone can have a more specific answer.
Did you already receive your state, or is the debt higher than your state refund?(I never see anyone with the name Toni!! That’s my name too!😊😊😉)
DDD 2/27 finally after 1.5 weeks on is being processed.
Have netspend so I’m expecting it to come early, they usually do & since my state did this year I’m hoping it’ll be the same for federal.I WAS LEGIT STARTING TO GET WORRIED, but I do think they were just behind. Accepted 1/24 & just got the DDD this morning. So don’t assume something caused it to delay, they were just so backed up because the government was shutdown.
I haven’t yet, filed early accepted 1/24, processing date showed 2/14 (but I’m a Pather) soon as path went away on 2/16 I’ve had “is being processed” and no changes. Hoping tonight will update me but I’m waiting until the 27th to call.
🤞🤞🤞 everybody!
Just to add to the worry-relieving posts, I know it seems odd that they aren’t processing in the order they receive the returns, but that’s just how it’s happening this year! I read something online that states the IRS was SO backed up after the shutdown ended they have 5Million pieces of mail that needed sorted, 80,000+ audit reviews from last year and 80,000 amended tax returns FROM LAST YEAR still needing to be processed. All of this on the day they opened back up.
They didn’t have a choice to go into work & there wasnt anything anyone could do about it until Jan 28th so with that in mind (you can simply Google this info, that’s where I found it) just remember thid year isn’t the norm and we will all get processed when they are able too.
I have “is being processed” and no DDD yet so still/is I’m not sure there’s a forsure difference….might be but with the way things have gone this past week I haven’t seen any patterns on any status wrm is giving out so it’s a guessing game unless they’ve sent mail or a take action code on WMR.Awesome news!! I’m thinking that’s when mine should be, I’ve been on “is being processed” since path lifted so I’m just waiting until the 27th.
🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
February 22, 2019 at 4:07 pm in reply to: We have received your tax return and it is being processed. #4295479Awesome JRich! I bet thats a relief! I havent called to check yet but I have the exact same file / acceptance dates so hopefully I’ll have more than “is being processed” tomorrow morning. If not I’ll be calling Monday! 🤞🤞🤞For everyone still waiting!
Thank you for sharing your expierence, even though its a diffucult one… it’s an important topic to bring up.
🙁
My heart truly goes out to you guys, i know I will/would be in big trouble if I don’t get my refund (which i havent yet & no ddd so who even knows) but, I can imagine the stress your feeling.Umm…me having the “being processed” message wasnt why i made the comment on this—-> The title was “everyone is updating……[I’m over here like]” (insinuating that they were the only ones without updates this past week….
I have not updated, not at all (which a tax filer on a weekly cycle would only update once a week anyways so if you’re not sure which you are daily or weekly…then how can you expect anything.) I’m assuming I’m a weekly but I don’t check that stuff so I don’t complain about it…see where I’m going….
It’s said the same processed bull the entire time, since the path went away, so no, I’m not “being processed” at the time I should have and have NO UPDATES. My processing date was 2/14….it wasn’t processed then and for all I know it still isn’t moving at all and nobody will know until tonight!Your not alone, filed & accepted 1/23-1/24
Path until 2/16
Stuck on “is being processed” since then….no offsets, 1 dependent with EIC no ACTC here. Same employer, same insurance, everything has been the same since 2016So no, not everybody and the majority of us will update overnight tonight. That’s been what everyone’s said when they called the IRS so 🤞🤞 we see something in the morning! They only got some of the PATHers processed on time and are about a week behind with the rest. If you look online…after the government shutdown ended, they had:
5 million pieces of mail that needed sorted and processed
80,000 requests for tax audits from last year needing processed
87,000 amended tax returns from last year to process
(Those are just the numbers I remember. I didn’t copy and paste that so it might be off a tad bit…but that might be exactly what it said too!)And then the current year to process….all starting Jan 28th. That put things into perspective for me so maybe that’ll calm some nerves, but don’t feel alone! I’m right here with ya😊

Booger eater (🤢)
Only the additional child tax credit is under PATH act as far as I am aware. (Earned income credit and additional child tax credit) so if you’re only claiming 1 dependent. That wouldn’t fall under the PATH act…correct me if I’m wrong.Well….
I’ve had netspend with a meta bank account for years, this will be my 3rd refund using them and I use it for everyday banking, or will until March as they are removing the overdraft protection. I’m not exactly sure on the note recent safety procedures on verifying, I do remember having to verify my ID for the direct deposit to come through properly, as well as adding my husband onto the account for his deposit ad well. I just know they won’t show/have a pending deposit, rarely have I seen my outgoing stuff as pending (usually just my rent payment) I seen a lot of Facebook comments saying “Come on netspend, release my money” when it clearly states and with my 3 years expierence using it, that doesn’t happen….so as soon as the funds are sent to netspend (it might take overnight to reach them, I am not sure on that end!) But as soon as it is sent, you’ll have the funds available to spend. So if you’re a new netspender, and you haven’t verified ID for direct deposit, that is how it works! You can find their FAQ’s online to see exactly tlhow it works, but I use them for a reason 😊😊 (well…until they wanted to take away my overdraft after 3 years of constant deposits) 🤞🤞🤞
I haven’t gotten a WMR update yet, so I’ll be posting if I get a deposit without a DDD!
February 22, 2019 at 9:03 am in reply to: If you have Netspend with DDD 2/27 update Here!!!✊ #4294230Same. Except no DDD yet! Just wanting to be nosey and see if anyone else gets a deposit!
🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! 🤞🤞🤞 for everyone!
They claim 2 days early so I would hope so!
Last year my DDD was 2 days after I got the deposit.
This year my state showed deposit date of 2/8 and it came on 2/6…so I would assume so! I do know they won’t hold the funds so as soon as they send them over they’ll be available to you!Yes, as long as the funds are sent….netspend doesn’t hold funds, they make them available as soon as they come in! So I hope they’ll get that rolling for you!
My processing date was 2/13….no update on WMR mine says the same damn thing 😐
So idk what to think anymore, no codes or any notices yet. Just waiting until the 27th to call…
Processing date 2/13- still stuck on “it is being processed” 😞
Umm…okay. and I think mine were the same. Deposits on a Thursday in the evening (5-6pm).
Lots of people on the Facebook page have said this too! So it’s not just you or anything!🤞☺ hoping we see some good things soon.
Let me know what they say if you get through please! I’ve been reading all the phone call posts so I would really appreciate a tag!
I have had a full TurboTax bar and no WMR updates at all except when path message went away. It says “it is being processed” so I’m hoping the WMR website is just slow/behind like it has in previous years.
February 21, 2019 at 1:00 pm in reply to: Anyone filed 01/28, TT, using NetSpend still waiting? #4290928Yeah that’s what lines acting like too except it shows a later date than what I actually filed (but that is when the IRS opened) mommajess. What a relief to know your just waiting to deposit now. The not knowing exactly what’s going on is what’s killing me. I don’t do well with unknowns! 😂
Thanks for sharing guys! I’ll try to come back to these if I have any changes to let you know. 🤞🤞
February 21, 2019 at 12:43 pm in reply to: Anyone filed 01/28, TT, using NetSpend still waiting? #4290855TurboTax isn’t showing you a file/accepted/ refund date? I believe it’s called that, refund date, but it means processing date I think (mine is showing 2/14 but no WMR updates yet) filed shows 1/23 when I click on the little ? But it shows 1/28 as file date, then shows 1/24 as acceptance date.
I don’t have transcripts but those are what TurboTax shows me, and this is all while WMR shows “We’ve received your return and it is being processed” since 2/16.
It hasn’t changed at all, shown the same dates the whole time, I did file early. But only 5 days before IRS opened and was accepted 1/24….test batch maybe?
Thank you so much! I had a file/accepted date very close to that, maybe 2 days later…so I’m hoping I’ll be able to give everyone some info soon. I really appreciate you guys sharing!
If you don’t expect things to go a certian way, you’ll be way less disappointed when they turn out crap. CITIZEN44 – Masters degree in dealing with crap – earned from a life consistently filled with crappy crap.
So, in your opinion…
Thanks for sharing this by the way!
If I filed and accepted around the time the first person on the list did (pather) knowing there are no federal offsets, and I’m stuck on “is being processed” since 2/16 without an update on wmr or any ddd…why would that be, or what’s the most likely issue? If you’re able to answer it that is, I’m just worried because I know there are glitched and things that happen and it’s just the non-updating that’s worrying me. If I call I want it to be after the 27th so they can’t tell me the usual generic path bs. As clearly, based on PATHers having deposits already this isn’t the case for everyone even tho they say that!
Overnight or did it just come through? Did you have a DDD and did you claim eic/ACTC
Early filer, guess that’s a mistake even though that’s never been an issue before 2019…
F & A ~1/24~
Path EIC no ACTC, just 1 dependent.
Path went away morning of 2/16Been stuck on “is being processed” since then….checked this morning & still nothing different. No DDD. No codes of any kind. No nothing.
🤷♀️
Path with both credits- sorry!
F/A 1/24
Path message gone 2/16
Stuck in “is being processed” since then….
TurboTax processing date showed 2/13 (but I think they just put whatever 21 days later would be in that box)Very glad to hear this!! Thanks for sharing the Info & 🤞🤞🤞 guys!
They would all go to the IRS so it should give an option for past years filings, there is an automated system and a number on these forums for a live agent. I can’t tag you in it but it should be on page 1 or 2 with the number!
I hope that even helps, I’m not exactly sure but I would assume that it all goes to the same place.
Weird. That makes me think there isn’t a set amount of logins for everyone. I logged in twice a few days in a row, on the website and mobile app bec the app doesn’t show me as much as their website does (also weird & stupid)
So that’s weird forsure bec it didn’t tell me anything like that. 🤷🏻♀️ who knows! Did you have any codes pop up? Like if you needed to verify your ID?
February 20, 2019 at 3:13 pm in reply to: We have received your tax return and it is being processed. #4287268John Anderson
They sometimes accept return early during testing. My was accepted 1/17-24 but it’s not processing any faster than others who filed after Jan 28th.
Sounds like me! I hate calling ANYONE, surprised I’ve even been socializing on here LOL.
If I were you, I would say something along the lines of…
– I have had a DDD come and go, we are 48 hours (2 business days might be better to say) since the deposit date and haven’t had any updates or funds transferred. I was starting to worry and I wanted to see if you could check my return to ensure I didn’t miss anything. I know there are delays with PATH act law, and other things this tax season so I just wanted to make absolutely sure that nothing was missing or needed to be verified.
Add on somewhere that- you’re calling to ask so that if there is an issue, you can solve it asap and get the return processed quickly as you(I) know many Americans are still waiting to be processed & delaying yours longer is only causing more delay for both sides.
That’s just what I would say, I’m not sure if calling would make a difference…but i don’t know if you would forsure be seeing any code errors on the WMR site if there were an issue. I have no codes and never got a DDD, filed early and just says “is being processed” I hope you can find something out Matt!
