I woke up to sbtpg receiving my refund, taking their cut, and releasing to netspend!

It’s not posted to my netspend account so hopefully it will within 24 hours! Thank god this madness is 98% complete! Luckily, I should get my Colorado state refund in the mail today or tomorrow as well! Any updates with y’all?

Net spend doesn’t show anything yet but hoping to see it sometime in the next 24 hours!

I’m ready for this to be over! Luckily, my Colorado state tax check should be in the mail as well!

It wouldn’t be such a big deal if they told us early! Like right after we were accepted. But most of us that had to ID verify had to call in and was then notifed. It sucks that had I not called in I would barely be receiving notice and not even close to getting a ddd. I’m not sure how they flag people. But I was flagged by federal and also state.

@shay Lynn I never heard about it until this current tax season. Apparently because of all of the tax fraud going around they won’t process certain returns anymore. They have you call, visit an IRS office, verify online, or fax ID verification information to verify your Identity. For me I called, was on hold for less than 10 minutes and the agent asked me random question like previous addresses and whether I had a mortgage from a certain bank, etc

Same thing happened to me. Turned out I had to ID verify. If it changes to still processing it is not a good thing! Call and find out now! They will mail you a letter about it but not for a while! I received a letter AFTER I fixed the problem! Just be persistent on the phone!

We filed 2/11

We called Monday 3/7 after seeing the refund has been approved message for over 5 days… Turns out they are mailing a check but they didn’t know when it would be mailed out. Taxes refunds are a joke.

What a piss off! the same thing is probably going to happen to us at this point! IRS told me it would take up to 9 weeks. It sucks because we paid or supposed to be paying turbotax over $120 for filing fees this year! Luckily, they don’t have our bank account info just Net spend info. Either way, I’m done with efiling.

I think I’m going back to mailing out my tax return instead of efiling, next year!

I had to verify information. So far only verified my Identity (yesterday) but haven’t received the letter yet so I don’t know if there is anything else yet. ALSO,,I would advise you guys to call!! The agent told me yesterday I wasn’t accepted until 2/16!!!! So maybe I’ll see some action by 3/8

Follow up:

Called the Verify hotline without receiving a letter in the mail just to see if it was ID verification. Was on hold 10 minutes and the agent asked random questions like where I worked and past addresses. I passed the test. She then said that it Could take up to 9 weeks to process! But 9 weeks is just what they tell people. I don’t know what else I need to verify and I guess time will tell…

@justine probably under review! I filed and got accepted 2/11 and same thing happened after a week. No TT 152 still processing. My 21st day is 3/3. No letter in the mail. I ordered my account transcript a week ago but haven’t been able to order the return. Now I can’t even log in to order anything.

Filed 2/11 but it didn’t say it was accepted for a good week. But Colorado WMR says it was accepted same day SMH but I got three bars tonight. Just waiting on them to give me a ddd. Hopefully it’s not another fraud fiasco like last year. I was one of the chosen ones that got a check in the mail instead of DD.

Now I can’t order transcripts online using my old or new address. The other day I ordered my 2015 account online! I’m starting to think transcripts mean nothing.. Tbh

Filed and accepted 2/11 with TT

No w2s, self employed, and claimed eitc. Probably raised suspicions.

Had 1 bar plus tt152. About a week later more or less everything disappeared and the “still processing” message came up. Only can order the account transcript. This is so annoying!

Luckily, I’m not necessarily relying on it (wanting to save it and pay off a bill) but my heart goes out to those needing it! Seems like every year it’s something with our taxes last year we filed late January and didn’t get them until April (totally different situation but still upsetting since we were relying on it then and it caused a bunch a bills and rent to get behind)
