Get my payment said that they would deposit my stimulus on 8/25 to my old account. Today, it has updated to they will mail my payment on 9/13.
@Kelvin-I’m in the same boat. Changed my bank account. I pay them every month too out of my new bank account. This country can monitor every one of our communications whether it be by phone, text, even this blog post, but it can’t update an account number. Hopefully it won’t get lost in the mail-another 50/50 prospect.
I had the message for a couple of days that information was not available. Unfortunately it is back to the same old you are eligible and we will let you know nonsense.
@Diana. That is an unacceptable response. You should contact your rep with that response and demand that she contact the IRS once again on your behalf and tell them to fix the damn system glitch. At least your rep actually responded to you.
Mine (Bill Pascrell) did not even send me an email saying they had my request.“It’s a glitch” is an unacceptable answer. If it is a glitch than it damn well should be fixed. I work with insurance claims. If some one calls me up and tells me they have a check that is owed to them and I investigate and find out that it is the case, that check will be cut (usually the next day). The IRS is budgeted billions per year. If this is a glitch they should line dance their IT department into work and fix the fu*king problem. Tell that to your rep.
@Kelvin I filed my taxes early April. They were processed by the IRS in a week. But I still have had the eligible but no date since mid March.
I pay the IRS $100 a month for an old tax debt. That they still want. My account works fine for paying money to them. Not so much apparently for receiving money from them. For what it is worth my bank on file with them is PNC. This month I made payment with a BBVA account that I opened a while ago and did not use (but it is still active). I want to see if the change in bank info triggers anything with the IRS.
Same here. Another Friday. Same old same old. Still eligible. Still no money.
Called my bank to make your nothing was rejected and they no. Called the IRS and was told basically to keep waiting, that they were still sending payments out through the end of this year. Also, he stated that they are basing payments on 2020 tax returns. I filed mine late March and it was received and processed in a week’s time so that shouldn’t affect the stimulus payment. The guy on the phone took a lot of time checking my account, don’t know why they just can’t push it through.
This last batch of payments were for plus up payments and for people who had no info on file with the IRS and
just filed a tax return. Doesn’t say anything about people who have not received their payment and are eligible.
I have been stuck on that “you are eligible” but no payment date since mid March. I received the first two DD with
no issues. I filed my 2021 return with no issue. No information has changed on my account. But still no check
and no answers.
