How often do transcripts update?

People on this site are driving me crazy just reading thru these posts. Most of you filed what 2-10 days ago and and are mad and spazzing out cuz you havent got a wmr update yet? I said this in another post, and I’ll say it here as well. – I’ve never in my many years of doing this have I seen it update that fast. You realize how busy the IRS is this time of year right? Hell, I’ve got my return back before wmr ever updated. Chill out and be patient…if you are supposed to get a refund…you will get your refund…usually within 3 weeks….but not always.

@Casey – Despite filing early, Tax season didnt open until 1/19 and even then full processing doesnt start until the week after (this week). 1/29 is the 1st patch of refunds no matter when you happen to file.

I filed January 4th got accepted the 11th if i dont get my money today imma raise some hell. i decided to get ahead this year and file early and this is whats going on, smh not a single update. ive tried looking up my return everywhere and can find no status anywhere and no updates on wmr for me, although i usually have my money and skip from one bar too two but who knows.

OK guys I got my state! Totally unexpected because they said it would be weeks from now ! So just proves it’s not always what they say. Lol. Checked irs website and for first time for me ,it says it’s down. Maybe an update who knows. I’m hoping for my federal dd by monday…who knows maybe tomorrow! Chin up guys…we are getting closer!! ;)

The wait is driving me insane!!! I wish someone from the irs could chime in and tell us how they are picking and choosing which people get DDD’s. what is the hold up??? it seems like they have 1 person checking everybody’s return manually and placing it in a done pile, its 2016 they still haven’t figured out a way to streamline the process..sorry I just needed to vent because this is getting ridiculous just send us our money so we can get on with our lives already

I dont think that is a cycle code,cycle dates ends in last two numbers either 02,03,04,05 ,last year was 05 for me

you need to be able to see 2015 transcripts to get your cycle code….last year we were able to view online and see cycle code right away but this year only option is being mailed…but if your able to even have the option for 2015 transcripts to be mailed then you are one step closer to getting your refund. ..but they’re Arent available yet to be able to be mailed for some ppl including me , so that means my refund isn’t ready

@Kaylee I 100% agree with everything you have said also. I file always right at open day because I know my refund always takes so long. Being an 05 cycle I do not expect my return to hit till the 9th of Feb. Even though I loose sleep over this and tend to check this forum, transcripts and WMR every second I can just hoping something changes.

I don’t know what to tell anyone how to check your cycle code except order last year’s return (2014) and wait 5 to 10 days in the mail for it. I would definitely order this current one for next year to have on file.

We all got to tell our selves that there is other people like us out there as we all see now. It truly sucks waiting and watching all these people get done before you.
