Hardly any of us are getting paid, but we’re tired of complaining about it anymore
I just posted a new topic. Apparently, verifying TWICE (internet and phone) wasn’t enough, because it’s still showing my verification as not going through. Still blank everything, but my as of date was moved yet another week out, to 3/31 now. I have an advocate now. I’m so over this.
From watching these boards over the years, MOST people change to “being processed” first, BUT you could be one of the few that does
I went from still being processed to being processed! That’s the most movement I’ve seen since January, so I’ll take it!
I had no letters or notices showing and didn’t receive a letter, but one was sent. I had to call and they let me verify after the 14th day after the letter was mailed. I did it this past Monday and still blank transcripts.also, I was accepted 1/27

Mine has said pending for 2 weeks. I use TT every year and it always seems random and never tied to my refund.
Although my transcripts showed no notice, I called and was told I needed to verify my return. Finally received letter over weekend and verified. May want to call and check if you haven’t received a date yet. I was accepted 1/27
FYI I went through this. After 14 days passed the day they mail the letter, if you haven’t received it, you can call and they will verify you over the phone, but not until the 14th day.

IRS won’t break the law for you. You can get it early if you don’t claim those credits if you aren’t eligible. I was 2k under the limit and I automatically fall under path. Next year, even with young children, I won’t qualify. That’s the difference.
Been logging into sbtpg every 5 mins…dont judge me…and I JUST got a trace number which means they’ve sent it to n’t spend so anytime now 🎉

That means a delay. Could be as simple as re sequenced or you could have to ID Verify and either way should contact the IRS
With sbtpg I’ve always gotten an update after 12 noon and my refund that evening so I’m telling you I bet you it will happen tomorrow and I’ve been saying that for days
I’ve used it for almost a decade and always had wonderful experiences and even when I had to verify or got anything from the its, TT was there for me. That’s my experience
I’m not stupid enough to tell everyone to calm down, but it went quickly and smoothly for most this year. It could have been a lot worse. Try to distract yourselves 😉
First of all, I’ve gone through SBTPG for many years and they never make me wait until the date. It’s always early. I’m expecting tomorrow evening (when I always get it). Also, for me, after 12 it updates to funded then a few hours later is sent to me.
Second, many of you may not remember the panic a couple years ago when we all mostly got our DDD way late. I’m just grateful that I got my date and am content in knowing it will be here this week.

Over a certain amount, they will mail a check because of limits on direct deposit amounts. Over 20k falls into that. Shouldn’t delay processing your return though. Congrats on the amount though!
If it helps, last 2 yrs my WMR showed tax topic 203 for offsets and both years they didn’t take anything. Just because you could have an offset, doesn’t guarantee they take it. Mine was from a state debt and they didn’t bother to take it, it just kept showing up.
My money goes through SBTPG every single year and they’ve never held it until the refund date. I’ve always gotten it a few days early. Because of the weekend and holiday, I’m expecting mine Tuesday.
Also, checking after noon is best. I’ve been told this directly from them and I always get my money a few hours after it moves to funded, as I always receive my money around dinner time.
Yeah, my parents did NOT have PATH, filed Monday and it was in their account Wednesday! Crazy fast!

They say 6-8 weeks to protect themselves and they read from that script all the way through the tax season. In reality, this early, it shouldn’t take more than a week
“still” normally means something has happened to hold up your return. Normally, it’s identity verifying, which does not take longer than a few days to a couple weeks. Unfortunately, it could mean something more ominous. Whether it’s A or B, something has happened. Sorry!

Last year I got 12k, this year I’m getting 5k…incredibly low for me as they’re usually 8-10k
I free filed with turbotax. I’ve filed with them 8 yrs in a row and every year I swear I’m going to prepay or free file and this is the first year I did. Happy I did because I didn’t have to wait for the SBTG to take forever sending it

Received mine around 2 pm CST. Filed 1/14, accepted 1/19, resequenced 2/8. Filed turbotax to netspend card and I have a 2/24 DDD
Just received mine! I’m in shock! Paid fees upfront, filed 1/14 accepted 1/19, resequenced 2/8. Transcripts updated today with 2/24 deposit. Turbo Tax and Netspend. Yay!
I was told by rep it can be 5 days early, to 5 days after the date, but almost always posts early and an average of 1-3 days early, depending on your bank/card
Not always bad! I was resequenced on the 8th (showed over 21 day notice that day) and notice issued on my transcripts, but I spoke to IRS rep this morning and they said there was an error, but it is because I’m getting an additional $2000

TT 152 just means you selected direct deposit, that’s it. Try to pull up last year’s tax return, the whole thing. You’re looking for the EITC area
The harsh reality is, although they claim it’s to catch people filing other people’s children, it’s catching the EITC fraud because they are less likely to afford an attorney and fight back
If you claim ACTC and/or EITC you are affected by the PATH law, which means the IRS will not, under any circumstances (no matter what people tell you, because IRS won’t break the law for anyone), issue a refund before 2/15.
The PATH message appears for some and not others. That part means absolutely nothing. Try to check transcripts if you want, but the bottom line is no one under PATH is getting paid until after 2/15
