@givememydamnmoney how long did it take after you contacted your TA I faxed my stuff in on the 9th and she called me on Monday the 12. Just trying to get an idea. This year is ridiculous.
@chris I’m with Rachel I had a math error and received no letter. I filed back in Jan. All they would tell me is I was j see review. I have a TA on my side now.
@Jay I also did the same thing. I had to admend my taxes and faxed them to my TA, she called me on Monday (03/1202018) said she had recieved everything g and it matched up so it was being sent in which is a 2 step process. She said to give it 3 weeks and she would check back in with me. I hope it doesn’t take that long. It would have been nice to known back in Feb I would have already had my money. Gotta love the IRS. NOT!
I finally broke down and called a TA on Friday. I was told the same thing @Rachel they will not process if it is off. She had me go ahead and amend our taxes and fax it it. She did not ask if I had a hardship and I’m only guessing because I have waited so long and have gotten no where with the IRS it was always a different answer each time I called. My TA called back today and has submitted everything which will be a 2 step process(identity and then processing) but all of the numbers are correct so hopefully we will get our return sometime in the near future. She set up a call back for 3 weeks but said if she had any update prior to that she would call. Has anyone used a TA and already gotten their refund? Just wondering how long it takes. My suggestion to anyone who has waited the 21 days and still says being processed is to get a TA. I looked up online to find a local on (she’s 2 hours away) but that’s what you get when you live in Po dunk USA. 😊
@rachel she took my case without a hardship. She told me where my error was and how to fix it. She said I should have my refund in 2 weeks. I don’t get the IRS. I laughed when she told me what the issue was, I am also like you we ended up getting more bc of the error. I was concerned about putting the admendment in before the org was done. She told me they won’t even work my org because the numbers aren’t right.
@rachel. I did the same thing, I filed off of our last check stub. Today I finally broke down and called a TA and thank god I did. She told me they would have never processed or it would have been one of the last leaving me waiting for months for our refund. She had me go ahead and fill out the admendment and fax over. She asked if I had any kind of hardship so she could get it pushed they quicker. I filled out the admendment and will be faxing over in a few. I’d call a TA. I looked up a to find a local one as I saw on here someone recommended calling local so there is no wait time. She was super nice and helpful. She said if there any discrepancy then they will kick it out leaving you waiting. I will receive a call on Tuesday by end of business day with some kind of update.
Dear IRS we are over your games. Just give us our darn money!! I called to have transcripts faxed to me. The gentleman told me he could not fax them as I am still processing but I can order them in the mail. Now how much sense does that make? I filed and was accepted 1/29

570 03/05/2018Was told today I need to wait the 45 days from 02/15, but have also been told just last week had to wait 45 days from 03/05. I wish they would get their shizzz straight. Enough of waiting. No letter have been sent and no letter are being shown in the system to be sent or have been sent. So over this!
@jaci that is what i was told also. The First Lady told me the rules had changed since I was told 45 from February 15. Amazingly they can change their rules as they go. She said the last batch that had holds on them were released this week. Who knows how many batches are between us. I filed and accepted on 1/29, on my transcripts it states 3/5.
@still waiting. I am only able to do the mail order transcripts. I ordered on Monday and had them by Friday.
@pinky68 how do you know if the hold has been lifted without calling the IRS? I called yesterday and got a ride lady pretty sure it’s the same lady I get every time. When you called in what number/options did you call?
This is crazy. I have 570 with date 03/05/2018. I have not received any kind of letter, I can only order transcripts by mail. I was also hoping for some Kind of update. I called the IRS and am not told to wait until after 04/18/18. WTF they just keep changing dates. The lady told me their rules changed when I questioned the 18 since I was told just last week if nothing was wrong I should have them by the 1st of April. The IRS has got to be the biggest joke this year. Never have I had any kind of issues before

When I called on 2/20 I was told I was under review. I have received no letters. Does this mean on Monday they will finally procsss my taxes? (Would be spectacular) any idea when I possibly will see my DD?? This year has been nuts!!!Ugggg I just got off the phone with the IRS. I called yesterday and was told I should have a DD by the 27 I had no reviews or anything. Today when I call I am told I am under review, and could take up to 45 days from the 15 and should be released by April 1st if not befor but to just keep a watch. If it is not released by April 1st to call back. She said no letters had been sent it was just under review. WTF. Has anyone else been told this? I filed and was accepted 1/29, have had the we are processing message since the 30th.
I was finally able to get into the IRS and talk to someone (800-829-1040, 1 for English, 2 personal, 1 forms, 3, all other questions and then 2) she took forever all she could say was that texhinaclly no one is late until after the 27th for anyone with EIC/ACTC (anything that falls under the path act). She stated unless there is something wrong then we should all have our deposits by the 27th. I asked if there would be any updates and of corse she had no idea. So I guess I’ll sit here and wait another week hopefully not.
Same! Filed and accepted 1/29 went straight to the you are being processed, no path act or anything. I tried to call in this morning after being on hold for 10 mins they hung up on me. What number is everyone using to call in?
Filled and accepted 1/29 ACTC, EIC, adoption credit went from accepted to we need more tile Tt152. 1/17 the only update I got was my amount is showing up on the side. :-( No letters received in the mail. Unable to get transcripts as I have a jew phone and it won’t recognize my card/auto or home mortgage loan numbers so I’m hanging in limbo with the rest.
Is there any more big updates supposed to be coming? I have the message we are processing. That is the only message I have had. Filed 1/29 accepted same day. ETC, ATC, adoption credit.
Filed with TT and accepted on 1/29, on 1/30 I got the message that it was being processed TT 152. I never had any bars, I still have the same message. I am only able to order my transcripts through the mail. EITC, ATC and adoption credit.
