I couldn’t believe my eyes 😮 when I saw the Get May Payment updated late today with a payment date 4/23… a payment is scheduled and will be mailed to my address. 👍
@SB: Got the 570 code since last Fri 4/9 my transcript updated the first time from n/a to 2020. Yes, codes updated again today to 571. If you are a weekly updater, I believe it will update again by Fri 4/23 next week. Hang in there!
I couldn’t believe my eyes 😎 when I saw that my transcript updated.
I had codes 570 and 971 with processing date of 4/26/21.
When I checked my transcript this morning 4/16/21 had codes updated 571 and 846 Refund Issued with processing date of 4/21/21. 👍

@stephmom: Wow! what a coincidence that you are here in the PNW… we are in the south Olympia/Lacey area. 2 months ago from today, we were accepted 2/11, ID verified 3/26. we are hoping to get our 3rd stimulus soon once everything is sorted out. @wmr2021Finally! We got some movement. the WMR status changed to: “We have received your tax return and it is being processed.” And the tax Transcript updated from N/A to 2020. Hopefully it is a good sign… and that’s all we got for this morning update. Did anyone get an update like this?

@stephmom: Hi, we have to wait for 9 weeks after the ID verification… they said Processing usually takes 9 weeks and we may check the status after 2 to 3 weeks… so you mentioned 4-6 weeks from the date of the letter. we haven’t receive any letters yet, but if any letters will be sent out then we will have to wait for 4-6 more weeks. 😢😭@TM: Happy for her. Long story short, we filed 2/9, got Accepted 2/11, Called the irs 3/26, ID verified 3/26. We’ll check back by Fri 4/9 since we are on the weekly update… We’ll wait for 2 more days… so scare to check it today. Please pray for us ’cause we can’t wait any longer. So sad :(

Hi, did anyone have to do the ID verify? How long for the wait? They said, processing usually takes 9 weeks. We did the ID verify on 3/26. As of today, no movement… so hopeless… We can’t wait any longer. Very sad! :(

My wife did the ID verify online successfully. I was unable to do it because I need a CreditCard or Loan# for the identity check. Thanks!

“Congratulations! You have successfully completed the Identity Verification process. We now have the necessary information to continue processing your return. Processing usually takes 9 weeks. ” And “You may check the status of your tax refund using Where’s My Refund or the IRS2Go mobile app after 2 to 3 weeks. ” Hopefully everything is good on the Good Friday 4/9.

@In shock: Hi, we Filed 2/9 w/TT, Accepted 2/11 irs. So we are in the same boat here :( and nothing we can do right now. We’ve heard those got accepted on 2/11 when they tried their test batch or something before the 2/12 which was the first day of 2021 tax season… it was missing or got hung somewhere –we believe, I hopefully if they could recover it or already went somewhere. :( So sad…. and Sad and very Sad :(

Hi, Did anyone claim these three items? We did claim the unemployment benefits and line 30 for the recovery rebate credit + education credit. If so, can you please let us know your wmr status? The message “…STILL Being Processed” was there forever since. Filed 2/9 w/TT, Accepted 2/11 IRS. Still No movement

@hproesler: Happy for you. Did you have unemployment benefits on yours? We did claim unemployment benefits and line 30 for the recovery rebate credit. We don’t know how long does it take to get thru the ERR Dept. Very sad :) Thanks for sharing!@Jsr1886: Yes, it is “Your return is still being processed….” They are so busy processing the 2019 and the new Stimulus check. If you are file early for 2020 then you are the last… that what we’ve heard. Now we need to keep an eye in the mail if something they want to tell us. So sad :(

The Tax Advocates are no longer able to assist with the delays in tax returns. I called, had a case number assigned, and was called back two days later only to be told that TAS received guidance and they can’t assist us. I was advised to call the IRS (which I did) and then got told AGAIN to allow the 10 weeks and nothing else can be done at this time. You can still try, but are most likely wasting your time.”

some news to share: If you received unemployment benefits in 2020 and you’ve already filed your tax returns, the Internal Revenue Service is saying you don’t have to file an amended return to claim the new tax waiver on up to $10,200 of your benefit payments.

@PaulC: same old. when they said on the headlines News that we need to file the 2020 return early with a direct deposit. and we did File 2020 return and setup a direct deposit… but still no movement/updates yet… so sad :)
We don’t use the tool anymore, it is useless with this stupid message “Your return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available”. Plus, to all the fake news medias – they are all bs. We’ve done our part (Filed 2/9 w/TT, Accepted 2/11 IRS). Nothing we can do right now unless something they want to tell us.
HRS: I hope it is not frozen… today is only mid March and 45days from March 29 that’s unacceptable! unbelievable! We’ve been waiting for ours refund since Feb 24, Filed 2/9 w/TT, Accepted 2/11 IRS — next year we will try to avoid the 2/11 in 2022, very bad bad luck for us! :( Hope we can see some updates/movement in the coming weeks. be prepared for the worst and hope for the best!
