I also just read an article on CNET, which states the IRS announced that the last of the direct deposits are due to hit today 3/24. After today, payments will be mailed in the form of a check or EIP card. I did NOT get mine this morning. So why does the website still say it will be deposited into my account?? Link to article provided for reference:
https://www.cnet.com/personal-finance/irs-stimulus-check-delivery-timeline-update-whos-left-out-what-could-still-go-wrong/Mine shows the same thing, including the last 4 of my bank account. I just got my 2020 tax refund dated 3/17 (got it on 3/12 technically) so I’m not sure if there is a correlation. Oddly, my parents’ status kept saying Payment Status Unavailable until Monday, when, suddenly, it updated with a payment date of 3/24. They’re both retirees with SS income.

A refund date will be provided…” #4469736After several attempts today, the IRS finally let me into the Transcript area and I almost fainted when I saw 2020 instead of N/A. I clicked on it and my transcript now shows that my return was processed with a DDD of 3/17/21. Hopefully, the rest of you weekly ppl will also have updates today! P.S. it appears from the entries on my return transcript that the delay was the Prior Year EITC, which had to be manually verified.

A refund date will be provided…” #4466895The only thing I can think that might have caused this delay, something many of us have in common, is that I used prior year income for the EIC. My guess is that the system kicks these out for manual verification of 2019 earned income. Then again, it seems there is an issue with many who filed early (1st week of of Feb or earlier). Either way, I think we will slowly begin to see updates & $$ soon.

It shows “N/A” for 2020 on both the Return & Tax Record sections – and when I click on 2020 for the Wage & Income section, it says a return has not been filed for 2020. According to research I did, this simply means the return hasn’t been fully processed yet.
WMR updated this morning for me. DDD of 2/26. I am a PATHer though. If you’re a PATHer & didn’t get updated today or you’re a non-PATHer, it wouldn’t hurt to call the IRS on Monday. Some PATHers may not update until next weekend, depending on your filing date… because this was the first batch of refund approvals for us.
