Well guys, I’m in the same boat as many of you… Filed with TT, 2/23 DDD and waiting on SBTPG for movement.

It’s not working for me… just tried. The main page works, but when you click on For Taxpayers, it doesn’t load the page to enter your information.
Jackson Hewitt, like every other chain tax preparer, is a franchise… anyone can open a Jackson Hewitt office with the right qualifications. They are probably given choices as to which companies handle their fees.
Most websites aren’t run on the same servers that transactions are processed. In other words, the website is independent of everything else. This is why it takes time to update your account.
If anyone has any experience with SAP, they know exactly what I mean.

I’ve gotten my direct deposits on a Saturday and Holidays… just got one not long ago, Thanksgiving Day actually. The bank technically doesn’t need to be open, plus I have Serve, so it really doesn’t matter, it’s fully automated.
It’s not illegal for a bank to hold it if the instructions state “by” a date. My mom works in a bank. As long is it’s available by the “by” date and any instructions are followed. It works the same way for SSI.
They open 7am their time or 7am est?
I have a feeling that all of us waiting on them are going to be mad… but then again, we’ve been mad all tax season.

Ok, so if all it says is “TPG has not received your federal tax refund.
Check your refund status at (WWW.IRS.GOV/REFUNDS). Once we receive your refund, it will be processed according to your original instructions”, our funds are coming?That’s not entirely accurate… at least in my experience. I’ve been filing through TT and having my fees deducted for about 5 years… Some years, yes, it’s the same day… others, it’s been up to 2 days later.
I only know because I do my gf’s the exact same time as mine every year… She pays up front, I do not. Our WMR DDD’s always line up… and she sometime gets her DD a day or so before me. Last year, her’s came exactly 40 minutes before mine. And yes, we have the same bank.
Now, I understand there’s a bunch of reasons why, but if everything looks the same and the money is going to the same bank, why the variation?
This isn’t designed to be an argument, just a “putting it out there” type thing.
Call the IRS… by my calculations, you have about a 50/50 chance of hanging up with a DDD…
I really hope so.
I don’t know how SBTPG looks at deposits… If they show pending on their end, can they do anything with them? It may or may not be SBTPG’s fault.

Have the “processing” message on WMR, but I called the IRS and got my DDD of 2/23. The awesome lady I spoke to looked into several other things for me as well, like not being to verify my auto loan account to access transcripts online.
She told me the money could be there anytime between now and 2/23
I didn’t bother calling SBTPG itself, the IRS gave me my DDD and it works for me. However, it’s not unheard of getting a deposit before SBTPG updates. I know people personally who had this happen. Personally, I’ve never followed my refund through them until this year.
I asked about this when I spoke to an IRS Rep earlier… Unofficially, she informed me that it’s possible they are only updating once a day. She also stated they could have received it and it could be “pending”. I am also waiting on SBTPG, so I know your pain!

My cycle code is 0405 with processing date of 2/13/17…
I called the IRS at lunch, spoke to a rep who looked into my account and she confirmed I have a DDD of 2/23/17. She also stated, unofficially, that I should start checking my account tomorrow as they word on the street is people are getting them early. Which goes hand-in-hand with reports I’ve been reading on other pages.

0405, 2/13/17 here…
Called the IRS and got my DDD of 2/23/17… The lady I spoke to said that my money may be available as early as tomorrow, she’s heard of cases that people have gotten their money already.

I would assume so, I don’t think the IRS would set 2 different standards for 2 companies that essentially provide the same service
Good question, I’m in the same boat… IRS will not take my auto loan account number either…
They are fed and regurgitate a script to you… I’ve been sitting back watching this forum for days, then I registered, didn’t comment much… but now, it’s getting ridiculous. You guys need to frikkin relax and logically look at the information at hand and stop relying on the person who commented before you to tell you what to think… Fact is, no one here knows crap.

I heard this too… but I also heard we’d all be getting our money today. I don’t believe any of it until it’s safely in my account.
I got this email on January 30th… It’s a generic email sent to everyone with PATH
Who really cares who’s wrong or who’s right? The fact is, all of us who got held up with PATH are not getting our returns treated like everyone else. You mean to tell me that fraud only happens before February 15th and only with those claiming EITC and ACTC? I’m calling their bluff there.
