Finally got thru to someone at the IRS.They haven’t even reviewed my Injured Spouse Form yet. Filed on March 3rd and IRS didn’t even review our tax forms until June 10th. So our taxes have been sitting for 6 weeks in the IS department Guy I spoke with today said he would put a note on my account but to allow 30 days. I said so what you are telling me is that I am looking at September or October AGAIN!! This year. What they are doing is shameful and despicable.
so I managed to get thru to someone at the IRS, e-filed 3/3 mind you. as of last week it’s just now in the IS dept. they didn’t even look at our taxes until June. Total BS!! I said so I’m looking at October again until we get our return. Unacceptable on so many levels. For all of you who are waiting, good luck I sympathize with you.
no one answering main IRS number, no one answering TAS number. Last time I spoke to TAS last week she said it was scheduled to release August 8th but I’ve heard that song and dance before. Was disconnected before I could file a case now I can’t get thru at all. This is all so unfair to all of us still waiting. I am in desperate need of this refund.
Received letter from IRS showing an adjustment made then to allow 4-6 weeks for refund. Anyone else receive a letter and having to wait again. E-Filed on 3/3. Letter received on 6/29. Another 4 weeks it will be close to 5 months having to wait for a refund. So I’m right back in the same boat I was in last year.
15 weeks and counting. Just another repeat of last year..
Can’t talk to anyone and if you are lucky to talk to someone they just put you on hold again to tell you they have no idea.
efiled 3/3 with IS form. my informed delivery shows two letters in the mail one addressed to me, one to my husband so not sure what that’s about. Anyone else receive letters?@ultrad do you have any idea what the adjustment is? Do you think it has something to do with the stimulus payment?
@krilwe how were you able to get a hardship refund? Any suggestions for some of us?
Just checking in periodically to see how everyone else is doing. Filed IS form with tax return electronically on 3/3. Still no refund yet. All I get on WMR is still processing. Looks like people are still waiting who filed in February but are seeing movement. Maybe I will get lucky and see something in July. Dejavu from last year. Going on 14 weeks now, unbelievable!
Anne thank you for updating. Gives a bit of hope to hold out for. Joe M yes don’t waste your time. They just feed you a line of bull every time you call.
@altrad same here accepted on 3/3 and no movement. Every time I call the IRS I get a different answer. I had no idea I was going to have to wait 3-4 months to receive my share of the tax return again this year. I wish there was somebody to complain to at the IRS. This is unacceptable, as far as I’m concerned no excuses for this to take this long.
@februaryfiler still nothing here either. They said if we haven’t received our refund or a notice by May 11th to call back. Well nothing as of this morning so I guess more run around this year. This is absolutely ridiculous that our IRS department can’t do any better than what they are doing. Didn’t get our taxes until October last year and I didn’t get my half of the first stimulus until December and that’s because I fought tooth and nail for it. Just over it.
Filed electronically on 3/3 and nothing. No updates on WMR just says “being processed” and it has said that since it was received. No better off than if I would have mailed it or filed IS form after it was processed.
Question – what does everyone mean when they refer to bars on the WMR website. E-filed and accepted on 3/3 with IS form. Just shows status of “still processing”. Transcripts show nothing for 2020. I was hoping to get our taxes back first part of May. (8 weeks). Anyone else in the same boat?
yeah not liking this new format at all!
