Lonnie my exact situation. Just gotta wait it out unfortunately. If they wanna take an extra 60 days oh well let them because they will owe you interest in the end if they do. Im still trying to figure out if im weekly update or daily update.
Will transcripts update automatically or do they update with wmr?
@michael, No, they said no info is needed and nothing has changed with my account and no updates.
Just spent an hour on the phone with the IRS. She sent a request over to the department that is reviewing my return and she said that it could take up to 60 days for them to review it so my new date call them back is June 29th if I don’t hear anything from by that day. This whole situation is hell.
@Michael Bliss. Thank you, I am very disappointed this year. I have NEVER had to wait this long for my return and I file my return correctly and honestly every year. This is just insane to me. I really dont want to wait another 60 days. At first they had told me i was on a 45 day review when i originally called then they changed it to 60 days. Its horrible that the irs can do whatever they want and there is nothing we can do about it.
Filed jan 29th accepted jan 30th bars disappeared mid Feb. Been calling the IRS on many occasions. I’ve been told many excuses the first one was that they had to wait because I get the EIC and the ACTC. I’ve been received a letter dated March 1st stating that I was on a 60-day review period called the IRS and they told me that they had to verify my income because my income was off second time I called asking if I can send in all my paperwork for all my income and I was told that all of my income was fine that they verified all of that and that they were verifying my dependent third time I called they told me that they were verifying my identity every time I called they told me that there is no issue with my return and they need no information from me to just wait the 60 days my 60 days is up in 2 days and I have not received any updates from the IRS and on wmr it says still processing. I do not qualify for hardship so what do I do does this mean that I am going to be on another 60-day review?
