Y’all With everything going on, the lord is good! Finally, after being on Further Review since 1/28/2020, TODAY 3/26/2020, I got the “We have received your return and it is being processed. No further information is available at this time” message at 7:30ish am and just Checked!!!! DDD- 3/30/2020!!!! I’m finally done. @Bella @shevonne @nysavvy @Mecca
@shashy28Well I guess Chase will alert me when the deposit comes in. Either way, its not worth anyone racking their brain about it. Literally nothing anyone can do just a waiting game and hope they get everyone’s processed in a timely manner.
@nysavvy Well I guess Ill get the the DD notification through Chase that a deposit larger than 500 hit my account. But @Bella and guys, it’s not worth us racking our brains about it anymore.
I said I got the online account, my iPhone alerts me to all my emails I get like a text, so when they send the notice of DDD through the online notification, I’ll get it either way. No need to wreck our brains about it because none of us are in the processing office or at the Dept of Tax.
LMAO! @Bella, I’m not checking again until this Friday after 3pm, and so on Wednesday and Friday next week after 3pm.
When it comes it comes, literally everyone I work with has got there’s except for the person who came from California last year, Also part year resident. I would like my 985 need to pay a few parking tickets, but hey what you gonna do. lolBut she did guarantee that I, at least will have a DDD by End of Week for probably next Tuesday or Wednesday. My tax return like I said was a “Part-Year” resident return, and the departments to review those have been backed up with the influx of migration of people especially moved to the state last year. And Also, I moved from a state with no income tax and made income in both the same year.
Good Morning Everyone!!
@Bell and @Mecca Still on review/processing y’all know I called this morning and the CSR let me know that there is nothing wrong and did let me know that my return has FINALLY hit the last “Group” of the review accountant team. So she said that literally it could be any day for a DDD and to hang on!!
We received your return and it may require further review. This may result in your New York State return taking longer to process than your federal return. No further information is available at this time.
!hahahahah!I knew mine would be an issues, one because I was a part year resident, and the amount of money made in Texas, none income tax state and the increase in salary moving for the company here within 6 months of living here. but its a simple return like i stated, I have no dependent’s and Claimed NO credits, yes I payed my full tax bracket 26% for Fed and 27% to NYS.
HAHAHAHAH
*Bernie 2020*@Tmills
I sent them both my W-2 from the company here I work for and the W-2 from Texas since I was a part year resident last year. But the same company, Goldman Sachs, but in Texas we do not pay State income tax. Just to make it as easy and clear as possible for them.
Which EVERYONE, they can give you your 30th working day date when or if you call, because the CSR’s at the call center see’s it. Along with what your 60day date would be also. Just ask, so you don’t have to guess.
@nysavvy
I was credited 1/25/2020, The NYS CSR explained to me that the credit date isn’t the acceptance or processing date, and instructed me that on my file on there end, they first accessed mine for its initial review on 1/28/2020 and gave me the 30 working days date of March 10th, which is actually 31 days, to by them a day.Bella
@shevonneFiled 1/25/2020
Accepted 1/27/2020 – Been on further review since then.I called then 2-10-2020, stated nothing wrong no flags, to please give 30 working days, then call back if no update.
I took my own measures to send W-2’s just in case for verification, they received them that day, 2/10 when I called back to confirm.
Still no Change.
Checked last night, Still nothing for me either, Further Review till the end!! hahahaha!
But counting down to next Tuesday for my 30th Working day of them reviewing my return.Nope
Bank to process into your account, hence why DDD are two days out, typically, but Mondays usually they wont process DD to banks, they will update DD’s on Tuesday for returns processed and approved on Monday’s.
Sorry for all the info guys, I work for a bank and have a friend who works at the NYS Tax Dept. and just to let y’all know, Shes been on Further Review since 1/29 as well!! Saw it with my own eyes just yesterday.Bella
@shevonneSame here! but I haven’t checked today, Like we concluded yesterday, I told myself check once per day after I get home at 6pm until my 30 days next Tuesday. hahaha
But They do update on Fridays as well, a few co-workers got DDD last Friday for this past Tuesday. Also, if you get a DDD, its a 48 hour turnaround for them to send to banks andIronically that is your 30th Business Day and probably for most who have been on Further Review.
Bella
@shevonneSame here! I told myself yesterday Until the 10th next Tuesday, I’m only check once per day anytime after 3pm. If I get an update prior to that, Ill get the email via the online account if anything.
Then if nothing by my 30 Business days next week, CALL CALL CALL CALL on the hour every hour! And be the most annoying person in the world.*wouldn’t have to pay the interest on the return refunds*
All,
If we look at all these long wait schedules, they all have one thing in common, NYS paid out the refund before APRIL 15th so they would have to pay interest on the return.
Its really a random processes for them which shouldn’t be. it should be a rank and file system.
@Bella and the Chain: Yes Yes Yes, I filed and accepted 1/28/2020, been on further review since that day, no changes whats so ever. My 30 working (business) days will be March 10th next week.
Y’all we will get there, and also remember, “Interest Paid” on your refund amount if not processed by April 15th or 45 days after you filed, which ever comes later!! Check it out on the Taxation website.
In the mean time, the hell with !NYS Taxation and Finance! -
