F/a 1/22. Updated with 570, then 971, and 290 additional tax assessed $0.00 two weeks ago. As of date was 3/2 with that update two weeks ago. Still have the path message this morning and the as of date changed to 3/9. That’s the only update I got. I just wish the path message would go away!

Today, where’s my refund updated to your refund check has been mailed. What’s concerning is WMR doesn’t show any injured spouse notice, and the prior year it showed it. I filed with injured spouse, however he did not have any income last year… so it looks like I get the full amount. However, I’m extremely nervous they’ll take the whole amount now!

Also, checked the transcript at 7am this morning and no update. . Checked it later at 11am and it updated. I’ll update here if the 846 comes the date of, later, or before. Not sure if it will be through check or bank.. this year has been weird as I usually update every week like clockwork.

I was not so patient. My transcripts uploaded this morning with all the data, a cycle 05, and a 570 Code.

I filed a week ago, my transcripts say no record of tax return filed. Yet there is an as of date of March 25th on the same transcript. What could be happening here? Am I looking to early at transcripts?

We filed February 10th. Electronically with the injured spouse form. Our transcripts showed two 846 codes about the middle of March. So we got half of the tax return deposited March 29th, and the other half went to the state of Illinois for child support. Unfortunately those kids won’t see a dime, and he’s been supporting them financially even while paying child support ever since. Every case is unique, and I still support the child support system, just not in this case.

I have an 846 refund issued code for 3/29. I’m kinda leary of it because the transcripts codes say filed, credits, 570 for injured spouse, and then straight to 846….. was there supposed to be a resolved code for that 570?

I called today for the first time in my life (lol). She said that her department are the ones who manually process the injured spouse forms and that it is frustrating on her end because they are told to answer the phones while processing the IS forms. She was really nice! But it sounds to me they are doing all they can do!

sgorham- That’s pretty rough to go through! I used HR Block, who did you electronically go through? Maybe I should get an advocate as well, never heard of forms being “lost”. Do you think it could be some sort of a glitch? No update for me this whole week. I’ll check daily just in case though! You’ve been waiting forever jeez!

sgorham29- Same. I filed 2/10 electronically with the injured spouse form; accepted same day. A week later I had the 570 hold code, tomorrow will mark a month from when I filed (my as of date is 3/6/2023 beside that 570 code). The commenters on this thread seem to have a one month wait time for an 846 code/DDD. Here’s to hoping for some sort of transcript change, and I’ll keep you updated! I’ve never done an IS form before so this is all new to me :)
