I have used H&R Block for years and always get the advance and return also goes to an emerald card. H&R Block emerald card always release fund the day of never earlier than the deposit date.
Las Vegas-
Last year when the where’s my payment site became available I put in DD info for my emerald card for the 1st stimulus and still was mailed a check. About 20 minutes ago at 5:54 am pst I received my 2nd stimulus on my emerald card.
I haven’t posted in a couple days just checking back in to say I hope everyone especially Shona, MayGen, and Jennifer have gotten updates or their money.
@darkcl0udx I no longer live at the address From when I filed my taxes and the website only let me log in using that address because it was on my tax return.
@jenn you are correct. I’m waiting until tomorrow to cash mine.
I believe thy are going off the address from the most recent tax return. I had moved since then and had to go to my old address for the past couple of days to check with the mailman and it came today.
Some have been mailed out before the 24th. My update said my check would be mailed out on the 24th but I got it today.

Maygen and Shona I believe you will be getting your checks soon. This whole waiting had me stressed out. The website said it was suppose to be mailed on the 24th and it came in the mail today.

Yeah I think he is lying as well because I been reading through a lot of information from different sources and out of all the people that are still waiting he is the only one? That sounds like some bullshit!

I’m just asking because I just read a post that someone wrote saying they had updated to check will be mailed by the 24th but they just received it by direct deposit and a person name Shona commented on it. If that was you that commented I was thinking the same thing you said.

I have a question for anyone who may know the answer. My check is being sent to my old address so I submitted a change of address online with the post office but it changed my address from Dr. to Blvd. does anyone think that will be an issue?
I also updated my dd info last week then was locked out for a few day and when I was finally able to get in it said checked will be mailed on the 24th. I’ve read people have already started receiving their checks. So I’ve been lurking around my mail box.
@jdojdo last time I checked the irs website it said my check will be mailed on the 24th.
I checked about 15 minutes ago it was working then.

I can send whoever an email showing it allowed me to sign up for informed deposit with account verification.
Shona with all honesty I signed up for informed delivery this morning after reading about it here and I was able to be verified by entering my phone number and selecting the option to receive a passcode by text and received a notification regarding mail this morning but it was not my stimulus check.
Alyssa Mai, I was able to sign up for informed delivery this morning using my old address as well as I verified with a code that was texted to me.

Not to my knowledge. My status says that a checked will be mailed on the 24th. I read about the informed delivery so I signed up for it. It let me verify by sending a code to my phone. My question is that I no longer live at the address where the check is being mailed but when I signed up for informed delivery I used my prior address.
No check in the mail as of yet. I live in Las Vegas.

Chris I was locked out from wednesday until either saturday or sunday morning I can’t recall exactly which day it was but I checked at about 8:00 am pst. And it finally let me back in and showed that a check will be mailed out on the 24th.
I updated my info Las wednesday with the correct account number for my emerald card and yesterday morning the irs website updated and says a check will be mailed out on the 24th.
I updated my DD info on wednesday and was locked out of the irs website until this morning. Once it finally let me in it says that a check will be mailed out on the 24th.
Dam I did it Again this time with 2 L’s on the word last on my last message. Plus some other shit was not pronounciated correctly I guess I got to hold that extra L and the other shit 😂

To my fellow people on this thread by that I mean everybody on this thread they try to make it seem like people are desperate or just looking for a hand out when that’s not the case for everyone, because of this corona shit my job closed done. I’ve been there for years as I’m sure others have been at there jobs so to do some bullshit like this is crazy, and I’m not a hater I’m happy for everybody that got their money.

Yeah this is crazy! But at least she was able to get her funds, hopefully it will happen for us who are still waiting soon.
@Shona I’m glad to hear your sister received her deposit. Did she also update her DD info through the irs website?
Tina I updated my emerald card info with the account number provided when you call the back of your card there is a option to get the account number and the routing number associated with your card or you can get that info from logging into the hr block app. Also if you want to use a different account and do not have one you can sign up for a chime card and they will give you an account and routing number or you can use cash app.
@mlcole I was able to update the correct info for my emerald card on wednesday and I have not been able to log back into get my payment to check the status. Does the website let you log back in?
I was able to update my DD info successfully on Wednesday and was able to check it 2 to 3 times. Since then I have been locked out.
I successfully updated my DD info on wednesday and ever since then when I try to check the status it says try again later.
@jesaz32 after updating your information is the website allowing you to log back in to check the status or is it locking you out?
@Shona I’m as clueless as anyone else regarding when the funds will be deposited after updating the DD information. Hopefully it’s soon!
@Britt did it give you chance to update your info before being locked out?
@Shona yesterday I update the DD info with no problem when I tried to check the status I was locked out after 1 try it says that either the info I’m entering is incorrect or I’m locked out but everything worked with no problem yesterday.

Is there anyone else who was able to update DD yesterday on get my payment but cannot check the status today?
@jennifer I used the account number from the app and also called the card. I did not use the account number from my taxes but both routing numbers were the same.
Jennifer the routing number for my emerald card that listed on my tax form is the same routing number that is listed when I call my card and the app the account numbers were different.
Juju0903 if it says that the check was deposited it will not let you update banking info because there was banking info on file already it will only let you update if the irs had no info.

I switched mine to my emerald card yesterday and everything went through correctly I just received the too many attempts message after 1 attempt of checking the status today.
Jennifer after entering your DD info yesterday, did you receive the too many attempts message when trying to check the status today or did it show the info that you provided yesterday?
I think there is a glitch in the system probably due too high traffic volume. Yesterday I was able to enter was DD information correctly and was informed that the funds will be deposited into the account I provided but when I attempt to check the status today I get the message that either the info I’m entering is incorrect or I have tried to many attempts after 1 try so I think there is a glitch in the system.
After selecting taxes at the bottom of the page while on the app select tax history then select 2019 and scroll down.
Kim while logged into the app at the bottom select where it says taxes then select the year 2019 then scroll down you will see the information.
Tracy you would need to go to get my payment on the irs website to see if the irs has your direct deposit information if they do not you can provide it.

I updated my direct deposit info on the irs website using the 17 digit account number for my emerald card that was listed on my block app not the account number listed on my tax form. Did i use the correct account number?

Wtf, Yes on the automated service select the prompt fit for account number and routing number that’s what it did then I logged into the app just to make sure they were the same numbers
