      @nisham03

@mikethemagnificent I did not file MFJ. this year. My student loan was sold from Nelnet to Dept of Ed to some other place. Ironic I called the other place last week to get my student loan numbers to “attempt” to request my transcript, but none of them worked.

@FrankenBakon and @Brooksie423 I just moved to Houston from ATL and this has NEVER happened. I do have a small about I owe to Dept Of Labor, but I owe wayyyyyy more in student loans.

@Amber I am with you. I have the code too, but when I called the treasury line it said there was no offsets for my SSN. So I don’t know what is going on either as my DDD is 2/27.

Where did it show you an offset amount? This is the first time I have the TT 203 and do not know what it is for. I called the Dept of Treasury and they said there is NO offset for my SSN. My refund on WRM shows the whole amount on the side.

To add to my post. After waiting 4 months for my refund…. I got a notice stating I owe $11k.

It was because my TA misinforming me to do a amended return and my account was flagged for an amount discrepancy. I would no longer owe because I was told to send in documents to prove my residence and kids school records. The Income discrepancy was resolved when I amended. As for now I was advised I would not have any portion offset for that balance I should have NEVER owed because when I called the number on my notice a rep told me to file with form 8862 attached.

There is another thread called 2/7 Filers that I been watching on page 1

              This year:

              Filed: 2/7
              Accepted: 2/7 ( w/i 13 minutes)
              Used: TT
WMR: Return Received (1bar) tax topic: 152
Fees paid upfront (1st time ever doing this, usually pay
out of my return via SBTPG)
Credits: EIC and ACTC – so been a PATHer the last 3 yrs
Ordered transcripts on 2/8 via mail
Today 2/12: WMR still 1 bar and tt 152 still showing

              Last year:

              Filed: 1/11
              Accepted: 1/13
              Used: TT
WMR: Sat at 1bar until 2/16 on 2/17 got “Your return is being processed and a refund date will be provided when available”. All other info disappeared
Fees paid out of my return via SBTPG as I do for the last 7 yrs.
Credits: EIC and ACTC – a PATHer for the 2nd yr
Got a Tax Advocate on 3/21. Still no refund received was told to admend due to amount discrepancies.
WMR: 4/1 – Your return is being processed and a refund date will be provided when available. Info still missing
I stopped looking on IGMR Forum at this point
4/18: call with advocate said refund amount was reduced will receive refund in 2-3weeks.
              False!
5/9: Tax advocate missed our scheduled check-in call
5/26: I took initiative and called the IRS was told return was in the examination department and refund amount was again reduced, but was paid interest due to the amount of time they held my return. I was told my return was processed and complete and os due to be sent to my bank on 5/28.
5/27 SBTPG received my return. INDEED IT WAS in my account the next day on 5/28.

4 LONNNNNGGGGGG months of waiting for my refund and went from a 9k return to $6,900
              WMR: never updated!
