I filed 01/29 and it stated that my est. date is 02/19, but I also was eligible for the 5 day advance. Still haven’t received anything. I could’ve got half of my refund as soon as it was approved, but I opted out of that. Now, I wish I opted in that benefit lol

Are you a weekly? The message will stay until Friday or Saturday if so depending on when your transcripts update. You will see your transcripts update before the path message is gone. It’s “lifted” already but you will still see the message until your side updates!

Go back to 2020 transcripts. The 14 was fri 15 was sat. Now for us weeklies we should update Thursday or Friday (mine will be Friday) and path will be gone Saturday morning with a deposit date of the 26th. This is if you filed two weeks or more before path began.

From my experience that’s usually about the date the irs gives to call your bank if you haven’t received your refund. So if it’s following the same as my experience , your refund should be issued to your bank about Feb 26th..this is based off my past experience.

I have been researching a ton, and this comes from MULTIPLE sources—including the refund cycle chart on this exact website. This is going to apply to almost everyone affected by the PATH Act. Be mad at me if you want but this is just the facts:

Daily cycle codes should update tomorrow, 2/19, with a DDD of 2/24.

Weekly cycle codes should update Friday, 2/21, with a DDD of 2/26.

This is not factoring in that some banks and institutions do release funds early, but this is going to apply to MOST people.

If you opted for the TurboTax “5 days early” deal, which I did too, I do not think that they will be able to honor that for us, but I could be wrong about that part—it’s still unclear and they’ve been kind of shady about that whole thing.

All in all, I would say to not expect to see any money until next week. It sucks but hang in there.

@traci she said for non pathers early filers you could have been recycled with being PATH has lifted hopefully you will be in the MASS update this week also she said pay attention to your wording on WMR if it say we have received your return and it IS processing no worries but if it say we have received your return and it is STILL processing more than likely you was pushed back but it happens and will correct itself

Because it isn’t going to update until tomorrow for dailies and then Friday for weeklies. Dailies deposit will be 2/24 and weeklies deposit will be 2/26. This isn’t factoring in if your bank does early stuff but this is for the majority of us.

I got my DD on the 22nd last year. I believe I was able to see my DD on my transcript last year though 🤷 hopefully it will be the same and not the 24th-28th the OP mentioned.

Well I’m not trying to be ruled, but the only people who know when we getting our refund is the IRS… Last year President Day was on the 19 and I got my refund on the 21st which was a Wednesday with no updates at all. So technically we just playing a waiting game.

Is it next to an 846 code? If not, then I wouldn’t worry about it. The processing dates are more for IRS data. You should have an 846 code this Friday. Do you have the path message on WMR?

I’m a weekly updater as well I checked this morning the transcript is not available for 2024 filing and it says there is no record of a tax return filing. But my state has a date and approval. I’m confused!

According to my tax lady whistle-blower all early filers meaning between beginning January and mid February tĥat wqs on the PATH will see updates Wednesday and Friday night into Saturday and even Saturday into Sunday depended upon if ur a weekly or daily okay and those updates will be for deposits to start rolling out 24th -28th now if you opt in for 5 days early you may see your mon3y Friday or Saturday depending on your bank transcrpts will also populate if yalll see anythinh different feel free to educate us on it cause im just the messenger.

Longtime forum dweller…PATH has lifted yes, next update will be Friday with DDD for next the following week (last week of February). Been PATH forever now and like clockwork that’s what happens. Also WMR in the past has never updated so check your transcripts.

I don’t have an account so can’t add pics I probably should have worded it differently… Tax Code 150 every year that date doesn’t change last year it was 2/26/2024 I got my deposit 2/22/2024 this year Tax Code 150 is 2/24/2025 same thing on prior years, so my guess is I will get my refund on Thursday IF the trend continues. But who knows, it’s the IRS. They do what they want.
