Yes I am still pending!
Well in my case it did not take weeks to post to my account. It was more like 7 to 10 days. I hope I get it back, but not counting on it, since my loan is already reflecting the payment from the offset taxes.
@missmelissa
Well when I checked my account it says last payment received 2/26 then gives my new balance. So unless received and posted are two separate things, then yes, I believe it’s probably posted. I am going to try to speak to a live person today tho. I will keep you posted.@nomoney99
Yes. This is how I thought it was going to be. I called the DOE, it was just a recorded message, but it clearly states that only March 5th and on will be refunded. Mine was already applied to my student loan on Feb. 26. A few days of the deadline.@missmelissa
Their website is saying those from March 13 and later. That’s what makes me wonder if earlier filers will have theirs refunded@MissMelissa
Are we even sure those of us who filed early will get back their offset? I filed on 2/4 and mine of course has already takenI was processed on 2/5. Site is still giving 15 day message but just got the alert from my bank for the pending deposit on 2/14
I was processed on 2/5 and it is still giving me the 15 day message,however my bank just alerted me to the pending deposit for 2/14
Yes. Mine were taken last year and the whole time the offset line was saying I had no offset. Also I never received the letter from IRS or my lender saying my taxes would be offset even tho I have the same address.
I havent received mine yet . It just tells me should be deposited in 15 days.
I also filed on 02/04 and was accepted in less than 10 mins. Hope this is a good thing..lol!
I was processed on Feb 4th. Still have the 15 day message. However, my bank just sent me the alert for the pending deposit on Feb.13 at 1 am
