So I called the IRS yesterday I was literally on hold for a rep for an hour and half. But I asked her why I still haven’t recieved my refund and it’s been a long while with 570 code. Well I asked for a tax advocate and she had asked me my reasoning. She was able to get the paper work started and someone is gonna call me in 5 days. So how long after getting a tax advocate can my refund be approved??
@Jacel no no update for me either. Transcripts haven’t changed. I checked my WMR app and it doesnt have the 152 topic code anymore work idk what that means. But I just read about the IRS shutting Down till further notice. Ughim so irritated. I need my money

Well I have not gotten an update yet but I’m getting very impatient. Crossing my fingers we both get an update on saturday. If not hopefully by the end of next week. I will keep updating!If your cycle number ends in 05 then they update your status once a week and that’s usually on Saturdays! But if you cycle number is any other number 1-4 then its updated daily after 630am. I know its confusing and frustrating but I read an article today that there is literally more people taxes on hold this year then ever.
Well supposibly there is gonna be an update this frday during the night so saturday morning! I’m crossing my fingers for an update. I’m tired of waiting I was supposed to get my refund already 😭😭
Well this is soooooo annoying….
I got a letter on 3/2/20 saying code 570 and a 60 day review for income verification and tax withholding. I had called the IRS they said not to call back till my 60 days which is april 27th.
Today I requested my transcripts online and saw the code 570 with date 3/23/2020 is this when my 60 day starts? I’m so confused and I have a cycle number of 20201005 what does that mean. I’m anxiously awaiting my money. I’m a mother of 4 and struggling.
