Mine showed DDD 3/11 and I got deposit today.
3/11 DDD here. Money hit bank account this morning (USAA).

@booger369I would disregard the wages transcript. Mine says the same thing and my 846 posted yesterday and my WMR DDD shows 3-11.
@Mrsblack
I thought the 971 meant you had a second notice because they actually are missing something?
20200805 here with 3/9 date and only a 570 code. Transcripts updated on Friday and WMR updated today with DDD 3/11. Won’t believe it until I see it.
Maybe there is a release for the 971, but I thought that was an additional notice. Either way, check your transcripts tomorrow. Maybe your an 0805 that’s a daily and you’ll get 846 tomorrow with a WMR update.
We’re like you. No change to our tax situation in the last several years. It refund was pretty small. No clue why they made us wait.
I’m an 0805 (assuming weekly). I was same as you without 971. My transcripts updated today with 571 and 846 with DDD of 3-11. WMR will update tomorrow. If you have a 3/16 971 you probably have a long ways to go cause you’ll be waiting on a letter.

@raeboo4207The entire income thing is BS. I’m a 20200805 that had only the 570 with a 3/9 date and my DDD updated today for 3/11. I still have nothing listed under wages.
No update here…still got the 570 with a processing date of 3/16. 🤬🤬🤬
My 570 was 3/9 and I got the 571 and 846 today. If you’re a weekly and get no updates this week I can’t imagine why you DDD wouldn’t be 3/18.
I was a 20200805 with 3/9 date that only had a 570 code. My transcripts upset with 571 and 846 with DDD of 3/11. Hoping to see wmr update tomorrow.
Oddly, my wages transcript is still blank.
@ProudFatherOF1
Pour me a drink.

That means you’re in the 60 day review. Don’t expect refund until after April possibly longer.
It was reported that there was a major systems crash at IRS on the 27th. Anyone that filed or was issued a refund on that date may not see refunds until June to August.
What is the best number to call to talk to someone?? Thanks!
It’s not worth talking to them. There’s hundreds of people on these forums reporting the same scripted responses from tax agents at IRS. Many reporting that they’re calling back and being told something else. Don’t waste your time. Try waiting until after 3/9.
I have a DDD of 3/4 for federal but state is still processing. Wondering if they’re auditing me as well. But if so, federal did not follow suit. I am also only self employed but this is my 3rd yr of that.
Sounds like you’re preparing your taxes correctly.
I went to FBI headquarters on 2/28 for identity verification to get my $217 refund. WMR cleared with DDD two days later. Hoping for deposit by end of week.
Yes and yes. Expect the worst. There’s another couple people here posting that this happened to them and they stated that the state notified federal and put you them in a “critical review” pile that often requires a lawyer. Make sure you have $5,000 on hand for a retainer.

March 2, 2020 at 4:52 pm in reply to: 🤞🤞🤞WMR next update 2/29/2020 POST UR UPDATES HERE!!!! #4387530Accepted 1/29
WMR is still processing w/ refund when available.
My transcripts went from 3/9 to 3/16 with a 971 code – assuming they are sending out some BS.Anywho, I have never had this problem before. Should I call or is it possible to still get a DDD sooner than what the AS OF date says?
Thanks for any help or input
The 971 is the worst. Expect a return around August to November period.
Someone mentioned in another post that if this happens they revoked your refund and you have to wait 60 days for review.
What happens when you call the IRS number
I tried this morning and the automated voice prompt says there are too many calls and to try again on Wednesday or Thursday and hangs up.
Anyone change over the weekend?
Mine update from “Still Processing…” with TT-152
to
“You may not have entered your information correctly. Please verify your personal tax data and try again.”
Maybe they blocked me from the system for checking too much.
I’m getting same error. Oddly, if I put in my wife’s information it says the same “Still processing” TT-152 error. However, with mine it says “You may not have entered your information correctly. Please verify your personal tax data and try again.”
Got my 60 day review letter on the 28th. It was dated 2/19.
It says to not call them until after 60 days pass from date of letter. We don’t need our refund. I just can’t stand the idea the government is holding money I overpaid for no reason. Our tax situation hasn’t changed in years. So stupid.
My taxes were accepted on 1/29. Our tax return was very simple. Wmr bars gone around the 15th with “still being processed” and TT152.
I called yesterday and the woman I spoke to said there appears to be zero issues with my refund, but it’s being held for review and can take up 60 more days to process if they find anything wrong?
She said a letter was mailed to us on the 20th explaining why our refund is being held. I guess I’ll wait and see what that says whenever it arrives.
