Hey Sarah I have Chase as well. If I were you I’d call Chase again and inquire as to if there are any pending deposits. Good luck girl.

How can I come up with proof of a hardship!? I’m in such a bind and huge dilemma!
Filed 01/17

My 21 days is up. Bars disappeared on WMR, replaced w/ generic message about refund being processed. On Monday I called IRS, was told my return was flagged for identity theft. Rep asked me some questions then put in a referral to have my return processed. Said it could take 12 weeks. Called back on Tuesday, was told the rep who put in referral did it incorrectly and that I need to contact tax payer advocate. Filled out form 911 faxed it over to tax advocate. Called IRS this morning, they said I have a tax payer advocate assigned and gave me her name and number. I left a message, she called me back this morning to let me know she’s a group manager and she would be assigning my case to someone and I should receive a call from that person within 3 days. We talked for a few minutes and came to the conclusion that the reason my return was flagged is because I needed to use a PIN while filing and I didn’t. Anyway, she asked if I’m having financial trouble and I told her about my car payment being late, my auto insurance is late, I told her I had planned on paying my electricity with the refund, etc. She said I qualified for hardship and asked me to fax over proof! Umm….that’s a problem. I don’t have proof. There’s no disconnect letter, repo letter, etc, I’m trying to pay the bills before it gets to that point! They ARE late, just not THAT late. I exaggerated and now I’m supposed to fax over proof. How can I come up with proof? What can I do? I need the tax payer advocate on my side but they need proof!

Are you big mad?! Or little mad? Seriously though on a scale from 1-10 how out of your mind are you? I mean really though. We are all, for the most part, experiencing trouble dealing with the IRS and @texasgirl just so happens to be kind enough to take time out of her day to help those in distress. She’s been nothing but professional and helpful. You, however, are the complete opposite and seem to be getting off on being a total troll. Please keep your negative and disrespectful comments to yourself.
@texasgirl Holy crap I am freaking out in the worst possible way. Okay so I filed on 01/17 and was accepted on 01/19. I’ve been checking everyday but Saturday my bars disappeared and it says refund is being processed a date will be made available when possible. So I call the 1-800 number ext 652 and the lady basically tells my my account was flagged for identity theft. She asks me some questions and then says she has put in a “referral” for my refund to be processed. She said it will take up to 12 weeks for me to recieve my refund now. So I’m paranoid so I call the identity theft line and the guy places me on hold then comes back and says back in 2012 AND 2013 there was an investigation into my refunds saying that I had an issue with identity theft so that now the processing center will flag my returns. But I have never had any identity theft issues. I told him look I just want to get my refund!! He said to wait 6-8 weeks and maybe I’ll hear something back between now and then. What in the actual bleep is going on?!!!! I need my refund in the worst damn way!!! I’ve been following this thread so I figured I’d tag you and ask. Thanks girl. OH and I’m in Texas too (Fort Worth). So I just called back for the 3rd time and the lady said my refund has been pulled bc of all the government mandated security protection procedures. She said that a referral to process my refund has been put in earlier today but that as of right now all I can do is let the dust settle. She said to keep checking WMR and to just play the waiting game but when I heard 12 weeks I was like omg no freaking way! This can not be real life, but it is and that’s bull but what can I do? Nothing it feels like. I seriously am anticipating on getting my refund in July of sometime! If then. @texasgirl
