How long do it take to get the transcript in the mail ?

The first set i ordered on 2/14 and it took 2 weeks. The second set i ordered on 2/28 and got them yesterday. Seems as if not so much mail being shipped out so things are coming faster… just not our refunds. They need to save a couple hundred trees and just release our refunds already. We’re not all crooks…. those of us with same info year after year shouldn’t be penalized!!

I was accepted 1/27. I had bars til 2/15.. then path mess, then changed 2/16 to the generic message of being processed. Been same mess since. Ordered my 2nd set of transcripts 2/28 and got them yesterday via mail.

No update or movement on WMR 😢
Why do codes 806, 766, and 768 all have dates of 4/15/20?!

Mine still aren’t showing. But my old employers accountant told me she dropped the paperwork to the dr and his wife to mail out either the 30th or the 31st of January. If they ended up mailing them later then thats the reason for my hold up. I have no clue if it was received and if so when to the IRS or SS

When I asked for the fax number, she wouldn’t give it to me either. When I got home I called the hotline number and asked them for the fax number and they’ll kindly gave it to me.
Can the ones who faxed theirs in…. what did you put on your cover letter?I’m just gonna wing it and fax it anyways.

So i went to the Social Security office today, and what an unpleasant experience. The woman told me the IRS updates their system and that it could take up to a year. When I stated things that others have done/ had happen, she rudely snaps at me and asked me if i worked for Social Security.

I just spoke to my old employers Accountant. I guess I ended up filing before they submitted it to social security. I filed 1/26 acc 1/27 and they sent out the paperwork to social security either the 30th or the 31st. Long story short… it could be in now… it may not. But ssa.gov doesn’t show as having them so I’ll be going to the office tomorrow

                        @jenn6701

My 570 is because they say my employer hasn’t reported my wages yet. My acct on ssa.gov also shows that the employer hasn’t reported my wages. They processed mine but being the wages weren’t there they pushed it off til 3/9 to revisit. If the wages are there I assume they’ll process. If not, they’ll send me a letter and I’m stuck waiting til wages finally update into their system?!

I spoke to the local social security office here in west palm beach and they stated they get their info and numbers from the IRS. She said being I didn’t have SSI or SSD I didn’t have an acct they could input into. She said it doesn’t give them an option to put that in. She said the IRS transmits the wages to them. I plan to go tomorrow to bring it anyways and I called and left a message for a TA to get in touch with me. I’m soo lost 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

It is soo sad that a few had to wait 9-12 months for a refund. I feel bad for the ones who go through this yearly as well. And I feel for all is first timers….. someone was saying there’s a poll on Facebook where it’s totaling 20k people who are under review

I called and spoke to the SSA hotline I guess…. and the lady there thought they got the wages from the IRS. She then proceeded to check their guidelines. She said if it was a lazy year and it’s from years prior, you could bring it in.

So then what does the IRS go off of if someone’s wages weren’t sent in til Sept?! We’re penalized for the employer taking their sweet a** time?! Something just doesn’t add up.

Unless they report as there doing the returns? The man from the IRS said that my wages from a job haven’t uploaded. Almost as if they weren’t sent. He even said the name of the system it needed to update to but kinda muttered it. He stated there was nothing I could do and that I just had to wait. He said it’s reviewed again on 3/9 and a letter will be issued.

I made an acct on ssa.gov and looked at my 2019 wages. Sure enough… the job with more wages and the one I was at for the longest isn’t showing up. I no longer work there and don’t know what I should do

I was unable to make an acct on ssa.gov yesterday BUT was able to today. I had 2 employers last year and the job i was at the longest and made the most at hasn’t sent in my wage info being all thats showing for 2019 is the one jobs total. Sadly I have each jobs w-2 memorized from going over my return yesterday 50 times

I don’t believe it has 100% to do with Turbo Tax. I think its the IRS watching their rears. I filed all 3 of my kids and brother all on TT, filed 2 of the kids after mine and the other kid and brother a week later. None of them with any credits. Just a basic return. The ones filed on 1/26 got theres a week later. The 2 filed a week after just got theirs the 20th

I don’t understand why he told me a letter will be mailed out on 3/9…. 2 weeks from now?! He never said anything about 45 days, just 60 days and stated some date in May. When I asked what I could do to speed up that process he said there was nothing I could do and that the wages had to update in their system and it could take 60 days

Have no bars so called and was told a letter will be mailed out 3/9 stating my wages weren’t verified. Asked how to go about verifying them and was told it’s nothing I can do. Their system has to update with it. Then was also told it could take 60 days and said a date somewhere in May?!? I want to call back because I don’t feel any of it was explained right. Why are they waiting til the 9th to mail out this letter?!?!
