Aksha Not necessarily. My sister filed 1/17 and was accepted 1/19. Basic filing, single, no dependents. Only tuition and W2. My understanding that there is going to be a site wide update on WMR overnight tonight so hopefully her and others that filed around the same time will have a DDD for Friday.
Im PATH, so I know I won’t get mine until mid-February, especially since my transcripts have a processing date of 2/12, BUT according to another poster, major updates with DDD for daily accounts will be wednesday morning with an updated ddd for Friday. Weekly account update on Saturdays with Wednesday deposit dates. My sister is anxiously waiting and hers was a very basic filing as well. Only w2 and tuition. Filing single with no dependents. We are hoping hers will update in the morning with a Friday date.
Interesting. So you has the PATH message, and it updated? Thats awesome. I just got my transcripts and it looks like mine wont be processed until Feb 12, so at least thats only 2 weeks away.
Just looked over my transcripts and shows a processing date of 2/12. Im assuming that is when they will approve due to EID and I should expect my DDD soon after that date.
@Jerrica did you ever get the PATH message?
Mine says the same. Accepted 1/23 with transmittal date of 1/29. I think its just the date they use because that is the day the IRS begins approving refunds. I also have a projected deposit date, just I think they just use the 21 day timeline for everyone. I have EIC so I have the PATH message on WMR. Have a feeling after that projected deposit date passes, Turbo Tax will update to let people know if they dont have their refunds by now its because of PATH. Must my opinion.
@Jade Last year filed with EIC and my refund was deposited into my account 2/22.
Accepted 1/23
EIC
No bars just PATH message on WMR.@Donna – No use of checking more than once a day. WMR only updates once daily, so if you check it in the morning, you will get the same message in the afternoon. I just check mine once in the morning, and dont bother checking again until the next morning. Just wanted to let you know, so you werent getting disappointed with no change.
