Does anyone have an offset that has called the offset line and are getting the message that they have a debt and tax refund “could be applied”. When I called yesterday it said I had 1 offset. Today it says I have 1 debt. It won’t take all of my refund so I am just wondering if anyone else is still waiting for that message to say it has been deducted? worried that they are going to take forever to deduct the money and release my deposit.

OH to be 16 again. I would give anything to not have to add him to my insurance but we do what we have to do right!
I am really excited about this refund. MY 16 yr old needs a car and I didn’t need another loan payment. So he will be so excited!!

You are correct, he should go to jail but then my children would not get the $65 a week that is garnished from his wages right now. If I press the issue, then he just quits his job and moves again. It truly is a losing situation. I live in Indiana and he lives in KY so I am told that they can’t take his taxes unless he files in Indiana. Honestly I am grateful that I get anything because as you can see he went a long time without paying anything. But that’s ok momma has got this
