It’s awfully quiet here this year. Anyone get their massachusetts state yet
Mass. Department of revenue is really starting to irritate me. They have really been dragging their feet the past few years.
If the Department of Revenue adjusted my refund is there a chance that means its processed? I’ve never had that happen so I’m curious.
Now mine updated with a date of 3/10. I kept getting different answers from different people all day. I knew something didn’t seem right about it being issued on 3/1. I’m just glad I have an actual date now.
Now they’re trying to tell me it was sent to my chime account on 3/1. They told me I have to wait another week before they trace it. Absolute bullshit
Still no update. I’m so pissed
@Ida: I’ve been sending messages and they keep telling me it will be released shortly and they still keep feeding me the 4-6 weeks nonsense. I feel like they’re playing games with me.
I don’t know what kind of games these people are playing but I’m getting really pissed off. Finished processing my return days ago and still no ddd. Still saying processing. This is bullshit. I’m so mad.

So I can’t remember from last year. This morning my refund amount changed to zeros in green. Does that mean it’s done processing?

My refund amount was adjusted yesterday and is reflecting on mass connect website. I figured that means it should be fine processing but last night still no update. I’m petrified to check tonight because I’m getting extremely pissef off. It’s obviously done properly so like just give it up.
Mine still processing. My son updated to additional information is needed and a letter was mailed. I’m sure it’s probably i.d. verify. If i remember correctly this happens when it’s your first time filing. But i could be wrong. What i do know is he is pissed. He wants his measly 261 dollars lol

@ladyem: I just checked mine a few minutes ago and still no change. But I was only accepted on 2/12. Here’s hoping for updates soon

My thoughts exactly.
I think since they changed the layout of the masstaxconnect website maybe we’re not looking for black zeros to mean refund issued this year. Maybe it stays green and drops to zero. I was just looking at previous years and the zeros are green for each year now. Try calling the phone number instead. Maybe it has a detailed update.
I guess Massachusetts is dragging their feet again this year.
Within the past 20 minutes my loan amount dropped down to $0 so that’s a good sign.

I was hoping my son would get a deposit on his netspend tonight. He was on path for a $96 eic. I can’t access his transcripts but I’m quite sure he’s been updated. I don’t see any dates hitting fir netspend tonight. Wanted ti give this poor kid one piece of good news.

Has anybody had fees taken from refund before along with the anticipation loan. This is my first year getting the loan and not paying fees upfront and I don’t know how it works. Like do they get your money on the direct deposit date and issue the remainder on thr same day? Any input will be much appreciated.

@dianap: I think she may need to confirm her routing and account numbers. If she looks on the copy of her tax return the direct deposit info may be on there.
I had received my ddd on Thursday night. Then it hit my chime card Friday at 1pm.
Anyone have a ddd for 2/14 that has netspend. My sons expecting his today due to having netspend. Was just wondering what time netspend usually posts
So this is a first. I filled my sons taxes on Sunday and his state was approved 2 hours ago with 2/14 direct deposit.
Mind blown. I’ve never seen an approval in 2 days.Chime just hit
@rosa: you can be accepted any time of day. Any real time updates as far as ddd or Id verify etcetera will update during the day but you will find out from a live person over the phone

@Damons6: I was just thinking the same thing. Every year the day I update with direct deposit date it hits my card that day. Last year it was about 5pm.

Same, direct deposit for 2/11. Weird that it updated at this time but I’m excited

@ladyem: I just checked online to see where their offices are located and they have an office in Springfield. It would be nice if it came from there.
@ladyem: im in south boston and the few times I’ve received a check it took only a couple days. However I’m not sure where it comes from.
@ricky: it took about 4 days after submitting my info that I received a direct deposit date. But the time varies
@ladyem: when I changed from card.com to chime I had to do the id verify but I still got direct deposit. And the checks usually don’t take that long to arrive
I do feel a little better knowing that I’m not the only one without the path message

I was looking back at last year around this same date. Someone had mentioned talking to a DOR rep and was told that they were first issuing out the smaller refunds and double checking the bigger ones. I have a feeling that’s what they’re doing this year as well.
@lynzee: lol same here. I’ve been uttering the phrase “the universe is definitely against these past 2 weeks”. I’m kind of needing that money right now
