Hey all, I have been sitting in the same boat as all of you with the being processed. My WMR still says being processed; but, the transcripts updated last night at some point and I have an 846 code with 2/27. So the wait is almost over!

No real change here thought I would be able to get my transcripts today because informed delivery showed a letter from the IRS…..but no. Only got half the mail in the email and some that weren’t. Gonna blame the holiday for that one I guess. Hopefully, it shows up tomorrow or I may legitimately get worried that I am not getting all my mail.
@angel1, what’s your problem man. Plenty of people get returns like that, 2 kids is 70+% of that number. Maybe they claim zero, maybe they’re getting American opportunity credit for going to school, maybe both. Tons of people make less than 60k while meeting one or both of those. You don’t need to be ridiculous about it, and realistically it’s not your business at all anyways.
They’re not cheating anyone, it’s just tax credits, I was up there and I am just a student and a parent who works two jobs all year. You sound incredibly jealous btw
So the consensus seems to be that “being processed” means that you are waiting on the computers to catch up, and will see an update or a deposit soon. On the other hand “still being processed and a refund date will be provided when available” tends to mean you are getting some request for additional info or someone has to review manually. Does this sound right for what others have found?
Last two years I got my return on 2/22, before that they came earlier because I did not have the PATH delay before having kids.
My PATH message disappeared Saturday and changed to “being processed” while showing the return amount. I have not gotten my CA return yet either but I suspect they are taking it because of the registration on a broken car and that’s just fine by me, saves me a trip to the DMV. So hopefully a little luck and I see something change soon, looking forward to the deposit, I sleep better when I have a bigger cushion.
I think I am just paranoid because I moved, had another kid and the return is more substantial than I have ever gotten, but again I never filed with two kids before either.
Anyone get an update today (Monday 2/18/19)??
Definitely makes me feel better that we are all having the same issue, seems like it was just when the holiday weekend hit versus what the computers had done already. Just one of those things I guess, but as a student with 2 kids, it is hard not to stress out about it.
I am getting the same PATH changed over to still being processed. I can’t see a tax topic or anything else. It was 152 before, and I still have not gotten my state return, that is the part that has me worried, I always got the state fast. Anyone else in Ca and still waiting on both returns. I filed 2/2 accepted the same day, changed to the PATH about a week later and now the same thing all weekend. I intentionally locked one of us out, and it let me try that number again so it must just reset at midnight EST.
Any insight would be appreciated, I remember it doing something like this last year for a day or two and the changing to a deposit. I am just nervous because I moved and we had another kid so I am worried I am getting flagged or something since the state still has not shown up.
