My TT tax timeline has said “amount paid” to my bank since I was accepted. I think their wording could be improved because nothing has been paid. Right under it it clearly says 0% of taxpayers have received their refund.

Carol- nobody is complaining, we are all just trying to figure out if we might get our money early. Although they did open on yesterday, it still states that you should get your refund within 21 days of it being accepted. Most of ours was accepted on the 11th so anything is possible. Its already been 9 days for us.

Hey Guys,
Little information for you guys. I work for H&R block. I had 5 people that received their money today. About 10 more for tomorrow. The IRS is sending out deposits. I have never seen a year like this one. I truly think they are just manually pulling random returns this week. I had like 44 people file before, this guy who received his today. It is no lie.

It is a fake. That EXACT same link and I do mean EXACT, was also posted in 2 other forums. Under 2 different names from even this one and one was supposedly a guy. It is a fake. As far as Federal is concerned, no one has been “APPROVED” yet. Hoping to see movement by the end of the weekend. Good luck everyone!!

Thank you Joshua Sox, the error I made was checking the box stating that I hadn’t received a 1098T from my school, it was accurate information and Turbo Tax let me proceed so it didn’t even occur to me that I still needed to wait for my 1098T, which was available online today. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it won’t slow things down too much……

in my experience, its best to let the refund process. and then file an amended return afterwards. i had a customer one time give me incorrect information, the irs did not catch it and likely wont unless you are being audited. if ss numbers and names match it typically will go through regardless of any other errors. if its a name mismatch or ss # problem the irs will kick it back, otherwise it will go through, and its likely thats what the irs will tell you to do anyways. especially if it means you getting a bigger refund and not owing them money.

I filed my return yesterday and was accepted by the IRS pretty quickly. I just realized that I made an error, totally stupid mistake on my part. Is it best to go ahead and send in an amendment now or wait for them to catch it? I want to get my refund as soon as possible, of course, and am not sure what to do. The error I made will reduce my refund, which is fine, I just want to know what everyone thinks the fastest way to resolve this and get my refund is. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Another thing I noticed is that, Whoever filed on 1/6/16 and accepted 1/11 says they received a DDD Yesterday. And Whoever filed on 1/7/16 and accepted on 1/11 received a DDD today. Maybe me and whoever filed on 1/8/16 and accepted 1/11 will get a DDD tonight.

@Tarah I wouldn’t. If, and that’s a BIG if, you get a hold of someone at the IRS they will tell you wait 21 days. I filed and it did take longer this year to go from send to accepted then last year. I bet you by tonight it will send you accepted. The places we file with send it in batches to the IRS so I wouldn’t worry.
