You’re right. I forgot they don’t go through Republic anymore. They used to though. That I do know. I remember my accountant saying they switched at one point. I remember even when they went through BofA. But yes its probably the same thing. I talked to more people on the Facebook page and they said the same thing. Still nothing today hut I’m hoping for tomorrow early morning. I’ll still keep checking every so often. And I’ll see if I can find a number for the bank. But thank you again!! I appreciate it!
Thank you both! Yes, I use Liberty Tax and I’m almost certain they use Republic Bank and yes, fees were being taken out but I didn’t know they take fees out of the state? I thought they took the fees from federal?? Or is it both?? That does make sense though. I’ve been checking throughout the day so maybe it’ll come in later. I normally get deposits on Saturday with my bank so if I don’t receive it today do you think its possible I’d receive it tomorrow being a Saturday? Or not until Monday? And anyone gave the number for Republic bank so I can call and check if that’s the case??? Again, thank you both for the help! Lots of people are receiving them the following day or later in the day so that’s probably why.
So I posted the other day how everything was good and how 2 days ago I finally updated to getting my DDD for Fri 2/19, which is today. Well low and behold I don’t have my refund deposited! I knew right at 5am when it wasn’t in my bank account that something was wrong. Every year I’ve gotten my deposits on time when I was supposed to, no issues. I don’t understand what’s going on this year. Tons of people are having this problem with both their federal and state refunds not getting deposited when they’re supposed to. Some people think the fact that Monday was a holiday so that’s why some are getting pushed back an extra day, and apparently that’s what the IRS told some people about their federal. If I get it the day after, whatever, not the end if the world but who knows if itkk take longer than that. Plus being as it’s Friday that additional DAT won’t be tomorrow most likely. Probably Monday. I don’t believe they deposit on Saturdays. I also checked with my bank to see if I had any deposits pending and happentely nothing. Has anyone gotten theirs deposited later in the day?? Like in the afternoon? I always get deposits by 4am but heard people were getting them a few hrs later too. Ugh this is so frustrating! Finally a DDD after all this time and waiting for this to happen! Fingers crossed this doesn’t happen to anyone else!
Wanted to post my update. Thank God I have one lol
The NY state refund site literally JUST updated at 2pm with a DDD for Fri 2/19. So again proof that NYS updates throughout the day and not just overnight or in the morning. Most of my updates have been coming in later in the day. And I’ve been checking it all day like every hour BC I knew it was supposed to update to a DDD by today.
So I filed on 1/21. Not absolutely sure when I was accepted by state. Federal was 1/22. But when I checked on my state on 1/26 it was already in the 4-6 weeks to process message. Then a few days later I got the 90 day review message. That lasted a week until last Monday 2/8 when it updates to the final stages of processing message. Today was day 10 on the final stages when I just got my DDD of 2/19, 2 days from now. So this years total time for my state will be 4 weeks 1day.
*I will say that everyone I’ve spoke to has been on the final stages of processing update for 7-10 days before updating to a DDD. So once you receive that update count 7-10 days and that’s when you can expect it to give you your DDD. Also, once you get your DDD its always either the following day or 2 days later. Again, that’s been true for everyone I’ve spoken to. So that might help some people as far as a time frame goes on when to expect their money.I will update once More when I receive my deposit on Friday and then I’m gone until next year! Well, at least on this thread. I’m still waiting on federal since I have to file injured spouse but that’s a whole other ball game.

I had the same 4-6 week message requiring further review first. No audit or issues yet. First message I got was that it was accepted, then the 4-6 weeks further review, then I got the 90 days message a few days later. Then last Monday I got the final stages of processing and have been on that for 9 days now. I should move to a DDD any day now. Was hoping today or tomorrow. Most people are on the final stages message for 7-9 days. I filed on 1/21. Not positive what day it was accepted but I checked the site for the first time on 1/26 and it already was. Thursday will be 4 weeks. It seems it’s taking everyone a minimum of 3-4 weeks this year.
Still no update for me yet but my last updates didn’t come in until later morning or afternoon so I’m trying not to worry yet. F I don’t see an update in a few hrs with a DDD I’m going to definitely be stressing.
Has anybody had any updates since Friday morning? I know federal updates on Saturdays but wasn’t sure if state did. A few people told me that they were open on Saturday and today even though today is a holiday, but again, not sure if that’s just federal or state as well. I was expecting to move to a DDD today or tomorrow and so far nothing today but it could be BC of the holiday. I really hope it updates tomorrow and doesn’t get pushed back another day BC of the holiday. Most people who work for the state have off on all holidays so I don’t see why they’d be open today.

I haven’t received mine so far this year, but in the past mine was always deposited into my account in the middle of the night. I usually wake up around 6am EST and its always been in there by then. I’ve heard for federal that the deposit tines are varying based on what card you’re using to have it DD. if its your bank, netspend, rushcard, emerald card, etc. If its your bank call and see if they received it and if its pending.

Well so far no change for me this morning. I’m trying to stay hopeful though considering my last few updates gave came in later in the morning after 10am. There’s been quite a few people getting updates even later in the afternoon so even though its not there yet, there’s still a chance! I’m crossing my fingers for you to get yours!
The IRS is really open on Monday being a holiday? Even for NY state? If so that’s awesome! I knew they were open on Saturdays but I don’t see many people getting updated on WMR on Saturdays. If I don’t get my DDD today then my guess is Monday or Tuesday. Its only been 5 days now that I’ve been stuck on the final stages of processing update. Only….lol But for the length of time most people sit on it its not a lot. It seems like most people sit on it for 6-9 days. SovMonday will be day 8. Then I’d probably get a DDD of Wednesday or Thursday like I originally was estimating. Keep me/us posted! I’m curious to see if you updated to your DDD!@Blu Ivy
Last year mine was deposited on a Thursday. I don’t remember how long prior to getting it I got the DDD update though. I want to say it was only 2-3 days. Most people seem to be getting their update with a DDD for it to be deposited 2 business days later. I have seen a few people have it update to be deposited the following day. I do remember last year I got mine exactly 3 weeks after I filed. Today was my 3 weeks. In the previous years though its been about 4 weeks so that’s what I’m guessing will happen. Probably will get updated with a DDD Tuesday morning for Thursday, especially if there’s no updates on Monday being a holiday. I’m not positive if that’s the case but I’m assuming the IRS wouldn’t work on a holiday. Maybe I’ll get lucky and wake up to a DDD tomorrow morning! Here’s to everyone getting theirs!!See I knew it updated later throughout the day! Still no change for me. I filed earlier than a lit of people who already received their DDD. Filed 1/21. I know I was accepted the following day by federal but I dk if that means state was accepted that day too. It definitely seems vlike most people are sitting on the final stages of processing for about a week and then get the DDD (or that stupid 10 day letter). So if I don’t update to a DDD tomorrow I’m praying it will after the weekend.
Glad to see more DDD today for people! Unfortunately I’m not one of them today. As o far today I’m still stuck on final stages of processing and its day 4 for that. I totally wasn’t thinking about Monday being a holiday either. So does that Mean there won’t be any updates on Monday? I know banks will be closed so people with their DDD should get them Friday or Tuesday at the latest. If I don’t get updated to a DDD message tomorrow then I’m really crossing my fingers that I’ll get it by Monday or Tuesday BC of the holiday. Again, congrats to those who hot their DDD or refunds this morning!

As far as the time it updates, I’ve seen mine update at different times. My first updates were coming in overnight. When I got updated on Monday to final stages of processing I checked it that morning at 6am and 7am and no updates but then I checked it again after 9-10am and it had updated to the final stages. So BC of that I’ve been checking throughout the day and not just first thing in the morning. I know WMR for federal seems to only update at night-overnight.
And as far as how long I’ll be sitting on the final stages of processing, I can handle a week or so if when I get my DDD Its only 2days later. According to what everyone’s saying, it looks like there’s a good possibility I’ll get mine by next weekend. Getting a DDD today and it bring on the 11th is just 2 days later so that’s no bad at all. Again, thank you for the updates everyone!
Should I only be concerned if it tells me to expect a letter? I don’t want to call them unless I have to. So far mine seems to be moving along, just slowly. From what I understood since I’m still stuck on “your return is in its final stages of processing”, I should get either a message telling me that I should get et a DDD within 10 days or get the message with the DDD stating its approved. I wish I knew how long to expect to be on the final stages of processing message. It changed to that for me around 9am Monday morning 2/8 so I was hoping by today or tomorrow I’d see some movement. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks and I was really hoping on having it deposited by next weekend. Nobody seems to have answers or there’s just not enough activity going on in this particular forum.

Yesterday, 2/8, it finally moved to the final stages of processing. How long should I expect it to be in the final stages before getting a DDD? And once it gives you a DDD how long does it typically take? A few days? A week? Longer? I usually receive my state refund pretty quickly. Last year was 22 days after I filed. My husband and I have to file injured spouse BC of my student loan debt so I don’t get federal until at least sometime in March, so I rely on state getting us by until then. Has anyone received their NY state yet or got their DDD?
