No not married. I did work last year.Yes, when I got a DDD for the 02/27 I did get a tax topic 203. My WMR bar was full and said refund sent. It gave me until March 4th if it didn’t appear in my bank account. But I checked this morning and it send my whole refund went to the DOE.
I just don’t get how ppl who haven’t paid on the student loans for 5-7 years didn’t get it taken from there refund until just recently and I’ve only been out of school for a year and a half. I’m pregnant and due in May. My hours have been cut from work. I was counting on that money to get us by.My wmr updated this morning and they took it all. I had a TT203 or DDD 02/27 .

That’s what I thought too! I had an outstanding amount due to the irs 10+ years ago and had it taken out of my refund 5 years later. And it was paid off. But I figured it’s only been a year and half since I left school I would still get my refund this year. I’m trying to stay positive. I saw a post earlier that if someone had a TT 203 still will receive their refund but might own back next year. But their situation might be different.@ashley
I’m in the same boat. I’ve been out of school since 2017 and it went into default and to collections a few months ago. But I know I’ve seen ppl say they haven’t paid there student loans in 5-7 years and had it finally taken out this year. I’m wmr is saying sent as of last night but I still have nothing in my account. I have a ddd for today but noticed I still haven’t received anything. I called the offset number and did option 1. Then I did option 2. They took my whole refund. I’ve been stressing since I found out. I know I am not the only counting on that return for bills. But I am pregnant and due in May! I don’t know what to do.
