Recently had the same issue and it is still reading that my return is still processing and they will let me know when my refund date is available. Filed on Feb. 13th and a day later went to this status and have never changed since after checking my mailbox everyday for the past two weeks and waiting countless hours on the phone I finally was told today that I need to ID verify and a notice was sent with further information that I needed to follow in order to do so. My WMR never changed no one at the IRS was able to give me any info until my last call but I finally feel like I’m getting answers after all this nauseous waiting. I file with HNR every year and have never had this happen and I have to wonder if my continuously checking my status I brought this on myself??? I wanted to share in hopes that this may help someone else who is in same or similar situation. They say it’s normal and to wait it out but I think that if you are on this status for more than a few days there is a defiant issue and suggest to anyone experiencing this to call and watch the mail
