Hey all, wanted to update on my nys tax refund. I received it today on my Serve card and had a ddd of 2/24. I filed with JH on 1/31
@jennifer I don’t think that your refund amount is the reason for the delay because my brother in law had a similar amount and received his dd the other day. I filed and was accepted 1/31 and today received ddd of 2/24.
Maybe tomorrow you will update. I think they are just rolling out in batches. But you can also try calling to speak to an agent. That’s what I did the day before I received a ddd, I asked whether there was an issue with my return because I didn’t understand the message online.

I check this morning and it was saying the same thing. After checking on here and seeing someone say they got a ddd a little after 12 I checked myself and low and behold I received a ddd for 2/24. So relieved!
Still no update for me. I just called nys and they told me they don’t see anything wrong with my return there is just no date for my money yet. Ughhhhhh
When I check Jackson Hewitt site it says to expect nys refund between 8-15 days…yeah right it’s going on 2 weeks now since it’s been accepted. Idk how some people who filed after me already have a ddd. When I called earlier I was told that there are no issues with my return so then why am I stuck in processing? This waiting game has me at my wits end and I’m trying to remain cool, calm, and collected because stress isn’t healthy lol
Finally able to check and have the same we are processing your return blah blah blah. I want a ddd with my money already. I’m hoping the best for all of us that we make progress this week. I know myself and so many others could really use the money like since last week.
I still can’t check my status via online or telephone. This stresses me out lol…I just want to know when I can get my money.
So frustrating that I can enter my information only to get a page that says the times for maintenance of the site. Has been like this for over 15 hours for me.
Filed and accepted 1/31 and still says we have received your refund and it’s processing…I’m trying to stay calm and pray I don’t get a message about further review or audited. Hopefully will update this coming Tuesday…ughhhh
Filed on 1/30..accepted 1/30..then on sunday morning received a dd of 2/7…I used Jackson Hewitt and had my refund sent to my rushcard…last yr it came at midnight the day dd was supposed to be sent..which was 2/16. Still waiting for info on ny state tax …says to wait one week before checking..usually get it two weeks after my federal.
