Not sure how long the preparing refund takes, i am on that step now where it says preparing refund then on the side says processing refund….all i know is i am over seeing the word “processing” lol
@ Rudy, yes you should be good! i thought fore sure i was getting a letter with the time it was taking although from when i filed i should have already gotten one if i was, just means it really did take forever to process!! now just have ot see how long it will be preparing refund lol
As of today I am still processing….I am starting to think they lost my return or forgot about it lol
no I get it, stories was probably the wrong terminology, but on other sites, there are some know it alls, some have said the system only updates over night, where some get updates during the day. But like you said nobody outside of the revenue will understand how they operate lol just not happy with how the state is operating, they are holding up my return which is simple and easy and would not require that much checking…but who knows, i think they all took vacation days during tax time haha
Thanks Wade! i get different stories, but now that i remember the new system updated in evening time! that gives me some hope anyway!
@ Wade, that is great! i know you have been waiting awhile too…so maybe that is positive for me, since it is Friday I am sure I will not see anything change until next week now, as I dont think they update info all day long…. but is good to see people are moving, just not me :( lol
This is crazy! I would be happy just to see it move past processing, its stupid at this point!

@ CC good for you! glad to see some people are seeing movement! as for the rest of us, i am sure we are all out of patience at this point, im afraid of calling the state too to be on hold forever to be told what i already know, but how much accuracy you have to check for?? besides kids, i have only one W2, its a fairly simple return!
Has anyone seen an update today? i am still sitting at processing..this is craziness, at this point may just call this afternoon and see what the hold up is…I would think if they needed any information from me further i would have known by now! my return was accepted on 1/24 and now 2/21 with nothing….come on MN!
@ Krystal, glad people are seeing movement….i changed to the new screen it seems when everyone else did and now i am just sitting there….the site says they update over night which i dont think they do cause when i originally went into CFA if went into that stage between 8-9 i believe….at this rate i will have my federal before state and filed 1/24…
As of now still no update for me, my federal moved from Path and I have a DD for 2/22 yet (per transcripts)nothing from state…hopefully will still update something today but this is getting old….
Thanks Wade! and i will take it as a good thing, i dont see any reason why it be be needing additional information, plus you would think you would have gotten a letter already, so maybe overnight will have finished processing then!
Thanks for that info, it does help knowing that other people seen this and is not new as of yesterday, so maybe that does mean we are moving in the right direction, either way probably wont see any money show up now until next week unless there is a miracle tommorrow…does anyone know if MN deposits on certain days or can it be any day of the week? last year i know i got it February 6th which was a Monday.

did yours change to processing or is it the new site look? mine is at processing too but is jsut the new site look and is same as checking accuracy unfortunately
I filed my parents a week or so after mine and they got their state and federal back in less than 7 days! i have the PATH credits so my federal is delayed anyway…and have heard from other sites of people getting their state back too…for me it is either they are auditing me (really no reason why) or it is delayed too just because of the credits so they are taking their time to make sure it is all good…i think jinxed myself filing only a week earlier this year!
Still no change here, i started at checking for accuracy on Feb 1st also…cant imagine what the delay would be, and i feel if it was due to audit would have gotten a letter by now….either way it is getting old, I will probably fall over when i see it move from the “processing” screen!
Glad some people have been seeing some movement…just curious how many people still waiting on state are/were affected by the PATH for federal? I know people say they are not related at all but cant help to think it does play somewhat a part in it all…either way it is frustrating as i have no change yet
