UPDATE:
I got another call from my representative and she spoke to the IRS. The agent she talked to looked over my account and said there was nothing wrong with it and has requested that my refund be released.
She said she will keep me updated when she hears more.
But I have a feeling I will get my refund sooner than I would have if I hadn’t contacted my local representative!
I think everyone here should give it a try!

Some quick background, most of which will be familiar to all of you:
Filed and accepted 2/4. Bars on WMR disappeared soon after.
On 3/18 got the 45 day review notice. On 3/20 got the 60 day review notice.
Out of curiosity I called the tax advocate line and was given a generic reason, and was not given the option to get an advocate. I was told simply “maybe your employer didn’t send in your W-2.”
Strange, given the fact that none of my coworkers had any issues getting their refunds.
Nonetheless, I waited patiently for the review to end.
On 5/20 I got yet another 60 day review notice.
Called my local tax advocate office, left my information several times. Never got a call back.I read a few instances where people got in touch with their representatives and had success moving the process along.
So on 5/23 I sent the forms and waiver to my representative to inquire about my case.
Today I got a call and the woman assigned to my case said she contacted the IRS on my behalf and told them that this is a time-sensitive matter.
I will keep you all updated on what happens from here, but I would encourage all of you to do the same.
Here’s the link to find your local representative, and once you figure out who it is, there should be a link to contact them with regards to dealing with a federal institution on your behalf.

Good luck!
