If the offset is due to a debt that is not an IRS debt, keep in mind that a tax payer advocate cannot help in that case and you need to contact the creditor

I got the same thing. My wife owes the Department of education almost 30k, so I’m not expecting anything this year. About to be evicted , lights out but hey IRS and the DOE don’t give a flying doo-doo. Could file injured spouse. I might do that
